They refused to transport my dad to hospice house. We repaired the four wooden steps onto our deck but our walk is brick and bumpy so they refuse for safety reasons. My dad only weighs 150 lbs and is bedridden. Their refusal might have something to do with the fact that they need to reimburse me for paying for the tow truck when their ambulance got stuck...twice. Once for going onto a low maintenance road because they didn't follow gps/directions and once because they drove through a large dip in our yard after it had rained for days. I had to pay the tow truck to get them to unhook from the ambulance to transport my dad a month ago. Their dispatch operator hung up on the tow truck driver so me paying was the only way to get my dad to hospice house. Apparently they expect the homes they transport to and from to be handicap accessible. I definitely wouldn't want them to be called if there was an actual emergency. I also had to help lift the stretcher and get my dad in his bed because one of the employees was elderly and not able to do their part of the job. Veterans helping veterans. It doesn't appear that way. My dad is a veteran. I even bought my own stair chair and offered to wheel my dad to the driveway to meet them. I would never recommend them to anyone.
