    As a new business owner in Kona, I was eager to find a reliable CPA firm to help me manage my taxes and accounting. I had high hopes when I contacted Burrill CPA, but my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.My initial contact took almost two weeks, with the front desk apparently missing my message. Even though options are limited on Big Island, I was still willing to give them a chance. I was promised we would begin working together at the start of the year, but no one ever reached out to me to ensure they had my account information. I prepared all of the requested documents, but it took several emails and weeks of waiting to finally get a response from them.In the end, I received an email informing me that they could not take me on as a client this year, suggesting that I try again next year. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and professionalism exhibited by this firm.To fellow business owners, I recommend looking elsewhere for your CPA needs. Burrill CPA's unresponsiveness and lack of follow-through left me scrambling to find another option for my accounting and tax needs. I hope that my experience can serve as a warning to others.
