I was signed as talent with Amandas Models and Talent ***** in August 2022, and was hired in December 2022 for a commercial in Atlanta. I was supposed to be paid $400 for the job I successfully completed, and was advised by the production company that payments would be sent out before the new year, so before January 2023. Per our talent contract, *** was handling all payments for talent. Payment for jobs was to be sent to *** and *********************, owner, would pay me. I never received any of the money I was owed and attempted to contact ****** extensively, via text and email, over the past year for my payment. I have an entire text message conversation Ive had with ****** proving *** attempted to recoup my earnings, ask what the status is, why I haven't been paid, etc. Each time I've asked, ****** has consistently made excuses as to why she couldn't pay me: the production company has 60 days to pay from the time the job was completed, she had pneumonia and was in the hospital, all checks for other talent has been last too, *** moved locations so mail has to be forwarded and is taking time, her attorney is drafting a letter to the production company, her assistant "stole" from her, and the last excuse was "a hurricane came through Georgia." The day ****** claimed her assistant stole from her, I contacted *****************. They responded with proof they paid what they promised, and yet when I sent the proof of check to ******, she tried to claim the signature on the back of the check wasn't hers. ****** made the excuse that she had to let go of an employee for stealing from her, and promised she would pay. After ****** became irate when I called her out for stealing from me, ****** requested I only communicate with her via email; however, she can no longer be reached via email since she has purposely blocked communications with me. ****** NEVER attempted to reconcile the issue. She's a fraud, liar, and manipulator. I would NOT recommend doing business with ******!
