Never again. Just never again. Everything was going smoothly with us purchasing a handicapped van from AMS vans. Did trade in and cash purchase in January. Temporary tag was good until March. While trying to transfer our tags we discovered that AMS vans did not renew their business license. Meanwhile, we never received the title in the mail. Over several phone calls and lots of false promises from our salesman and the CEO, we were getting nowhere and couldnt drive our new van. My husband has a terminal illness and doesnt have a lot of time left. We had to spend money out of pocket to rent a handicapped van to get him to his doctors appointments. Meanwhile, we had a perfectly good van in the driveway but we couldnt drive it.I would like to note that AmS vans never reached out to us once. I was always the one calling them. Very disappointed with our experience. AMS vans put us in a horrible position. While providing no alternative assistance. Never again will I do business with AMS vans.

Bought a 2022 ******** ******** in September 2022. Have had passenger rear door issues since I've had it. Door has been adjusted multiple times because it intermittently chooses not to automatically close. Same door was rubbing paint off of rear quarter panel. Now door motor has broken. My Abs light has been on for over a year with no resolution. To top it off all wheelchair manufacturers in my state have refused to work on ***/VMI wheelchair vans, so I have to drive 3 hrs as a quadriplegic, alone for warranty work. Currently waiting on parts for the door motor and my ramp is coming apart. The build quality and reliability of the conversion is low quality. I recommend paying the extra cost for a better built conversion from another company.Stay away from AMS/***.

My husband and I purchased a 2024 ****** Sienna with a handicap conversion added which was additional $25,000.00. They sell these vehicles online and ship the vehicle to you. May 2024 their employee came to our home, went through the vehicle with us and we signed paperwork. Immediately we discussed with their employee that the vehicle was so high off the ground that my handicapped husband can't even get into the van, I can barely get into the van, (the conversion caused the vehicle to become much higher off the ground). We weren't aware of this until the day their employee came to our home. Wouldn't you think this would be something they should disclose to their customers, as they are handicapped customers, and they are purchased sight unseen. Their employee said he would get with the company to see how we get this taken care of, there was no contact made from the company. I left several messages and emails without any response. Finally, their service manager returned a call and forwarded my email to upper management. Their response was not helpful, they accept no responsibility for this situation, so now we have a $68,000.00 handicapped converted vehicle that my handicapped husband cannot get into.I would agree with the other reviews, it is difficult getting a response from this company once you have purchased the vehicle. The picture on the AMS website showed the vehicle before the conversion and this problem didn't exist until the conversion was added. Running Boards aren't an option after the conversion has been added. It would have been so nice for someone to have discussed this with us. Very disappointed.

From the first time I contacted AMS vans in 2019 they had my business!!! I had been going back and forth with Mobility Works to purchase a van- but they were horrible to work with!!! I contacted AMS to see what they could offer!!! They were SO helpful and didnt try to price ***** us whatsoever!! We drove to ******* to pick up our van- ***** unseen! We no longer need our wheelchair van so I tried calling our local Mobility Works for convenience because our daughter passed away in March. They were NO help! I reached out to AMS today and in less than an hour our van was posted on their website! No one really ever WANTS a wheelchair van, but the customer service and kindness of ********************** helping those in need exceeds expectations of a vehicle dealership!!

I purchased my AMS van with a VMI conversion from a dealership in ********** ****. Although I liked my sales agent who didnt pressure me at all, the rest of this purchase didnt go so well. I liked the looks a feel upgrading to a new wheelchair accessible van. It was a big jump in cost upgrading to a newer van 5-28-2022. $24,000 more than my last van 6 years prior. Having a disability costs us expeditiously way more than other products. With all this being said, AMS vans falls very short of expectations when it comes to my overall experience. You are sold on a product making you believe the overall experience will be a good one if not a great one. I have phoned, emailed, text many individuals about my dissatisfaction, but they dont care they have my money. No calls. I would give this van back but they wont take it. From the moment we took ownership, this product failed my expectations and so did each step from equipment added, 3 months waiting for license plates to resolving issues through Mobility Works servicing this van. AMS assured me Mobility Works would be happy for the work WRONG! They do dont like working on issues from this company, saying its not a good product. I will never buy from this company again. BUYER BEWARE!
