I have been a returning client of First Franklin for years. I have brought them business through me being a member. At the time *** gained loans, I was young and my loans were for college expenses mostly. I have managed to pay back any loans *** had except for this last loan I had. I fell on hard times and was unable to pay it back which resulted in them filing a judgement against me in civil court. Even after the judgment I reached out to agree on making payment ls which I did here and there when I could. I have finally reached a point where I am able to pay to resolve the account with a settlement but the **** that I have talked to with the recovery center have not been helpful at all. I reached a settlement amount (which I had to fight tooth and nail to do because they are very reluctant to work with you on anything). With this settlement, I wa side to pay it by May 11th. Being that I knew I wouldnt be able to I reached out to ask for an extension as well as to break down my settlement offer into 3 payments (which 2 would be this month) which would still satisfy the amount as promised. They told me no both times and informed me that I must pay the balance in full. Let me also mention how they also tack on interest every day your balance is not completed to close the account. This is also applied to your credit report as late. Im trying to figure out how can that be when you have charged off my account as well as filed a judgement. The personnel (especially at the recovery center) that I have talked to over the past few months to resolve my account have really caused this process to be very problematic. I have gained emotional stress because of this. How can a person try so hard to handle a debt with a company and its like the company doesnt even want it? There are not many ppl who will try to reach out to resolve their debts. I am to the point I am looking into seeking legal counsel if this cannot be handled. I will not recommend this company to others.1st Franklin Financial Corporation

First Franklin upgraded their systems back in November 2024, since then, I have not been able to access my acct online. When they do reset my password, there is NO payment / statement history, when asked if they would email my previous statements, I was told they couldn't email my statements to the email address on file, nor could they mail statements due to them not being correct. I went in and spoke to the branch manager who reviewed my online access and told me there was nothing she could do and gave me corporates number ************. I called and spoke with a young lady who again told me she couldn't help but someone what call me back. Imagine my surprise when no one returned my call. Also, you are unable to make any kind of additional principal reduction payments online. This is VERY concerning, and this company needs to be investigated. *****1st Franklin Financial Corporation

NEVER get a loan from them. They have poor customer service. They take you to court and dont explain everything fully to you before garnishing your check. I 100% DO NOT recommend their services to anyone.1st Franklin Financial Corporation

I am writing to express my concerns regarding my account. I have made multiple requests to review and pay my account online, but unfortunately, I have been unable to do so. It seems a new computer system was recently installed, and as a result, no one has been able to provide assistance with my account information.I requested a statement, only to be informed that the statements are incorrect, and therefore, they are not being sent out. I am seeking guidance on the appropriate next steps to take, especially in accordance with the Fair Treatment Act or any other relevant measures.Despite my efforts to resolve this issue by working with the office staff, I have not received any success or resolution. They are taking me to small claims court because of failure to pay. I never received a late notice in the mail, I never received a statement due, nothing from them. They just jump straight to court. They are not willing to work with people or give people a chance to make it right. I am a person who pays my debts, I'm also a single mom and have been struggling to make ends meet and now they are saying not only am I responsible for the amount in full, but the court costs, accruing interest, late fees and attorney fees. I can't even afford an attorney to represent me. This is absolutely ridiculous. If I could leave no stars I would.1st Franklin Financial Corporation

1st Franklin Financial Corporation for its grossly negligent business practices, aggressive and predatory lending strategies, and an egregious failure in verifying personal information before reaching out to the wrong person and accusing them of opening a line of credit.When I attempted to resolve the issue, their representatives refused to assist me remotely in verifying my identity. They were incredibly accusatory and rude. Instead, I was forced to appear in person at one of their branch location simply to correct a mistake that their institution made due to lazy **** tracing. Their lack of accountability, refusal to provide solutions, and disregard for customer inconvenience highlight an unacceptable level of incompetence and disregard for consumer rights.Furthermore, 1st Franklin Financials lending practices exhibit predatory and aggressive tactics that create unnecessary financial risks for consumers.
