I recently took my clock that needed repair to this shop. I was met by two women, one young and one older. The older woman did not look up or acknowledge my presence as I stood at the counter waiting for service. Eventually, the younger woman came to the counter and processed my clock for repair; she said someone would contact me when they determined what was wrong with the clock and the cost to fix it. I waited one week and stopped in to check on the price. Again, I stood at the counter for a period, before I realized there was an older man in the back; he could see the counter from where he sat. He finally got up and came to me and asked "Can I help you?" This man was so rude until I decided not to pay money or support this company. My clock was on the counter with a tag on it, and I reached for the clock to look at the tag. He grabbed the clock as I had one end and told me he needed to see the receipt for the clock. I told him I couldn't find the receipt, but the tag on the clock had my name on it. He told me I couldn't have my clock if I didn't give him the receipt and proceeded to ****** the clock from my hand while giving me a ***** defiant look. They did not work on the clock because they neglected to tell me I had to give my consent before they would proceed with repairs. I dug through my purse and found the tag the younger women gave me when I left the clock for repairs the week before. I put the receipt on the counter as we went back and forth about the situation. I let him know there is a way to treat customers, and customers are the success or failure for any company. I planned to take my business to another company in the area; there was no way I would support the Savannah Clock Shop. I am not accustom to this type of disrespect, and I feel the owners of this company would benefit from a basic course to understand the importance of customer service. I gave them One-Star, and honestly, they didn't deserve that!
