We paid ************* $5400.00 for a new liner, wood panels, and groundwork in 4/2021. Approximately $2020.00 more than our original quote. To date they had been called back out twice to repair liner coming undone. The first visit they did not charge **, I guess since we had paid $5400.00, and the second visit charged ** $95.00. Lazy Day states this happens a lot. I called another pool company, and they state NO, that should not happen a lot, sounds like shoddy work. Employees have poor attitude and keep telling you it is only a 90-day warranty.I can take my business elsewhere, not a problem but I do think potential customers should be aware. And I find it odd I am the only complaint?

I'm sorry to hear that you have developed a negative opinion of ************** based on your experience.  We do everything in our power to alert you ahead of time on the original quote about the potential for additional fees if we find additional work after removal of the old liner and the lazy day liner tuck policy which allows for free liner tucks for 90 days after the installation of the liner.  We include these specific disclosures in large print on the original quote and then take an extra step by having the client initial next to each policy so that they understand our policies in detail prior to choosing to hire Lazy Day.  As for the claim of our competitor that liners do not come out of the track often is simply false.  Any pool company that deals with vinyl pool liners for more than a few weeks would be aware of the fact that liners come out of the liner track often.  This is common knowledge in the pool industry and any company that denies this fact is either new to the industry or making statements to harm the reputation of **************.  The fact that pool liners tucks are common is evidenced by the over ******* views on my ******* video titled 'How to Tuck a Pool Liner Back in the Pool Liner Track'.  As far as you being the only complaint...there were other complaints over ten years ago when we were still a young company.  But after implementing our complete transparency philosophy of letting clients know our policies BEFORE they hire us and then having the client initial next to each policy WHEN they hire us to make sure that they understand those policies we have generated hundreds of five star reviews and our complaints stopped coming in over ten years ago.  I was shocked to hear of your frustrations after reviewing your documentation and finding that ************************* signed his initials next to each policy that ******* is now upset about.  We will continue to let our prospects and clients know our policies and we will continue to provide the best quality service in the market today.  But we cannot renegotiate the terms of the agreement after the job is complete.  I would be happy to provide the BBB with copies of the original quote (including policy disclosures) as well as the original liner agreement with client initials next to each policy disclosure in order to prove our transparency from the first contact we had with this client.
