    I am rejecting this response because:

    I have not accepted any type of insurance payment as was stated. I filed the insurance claim, but have yet to sign the document to accept the terms and receive the funds.

    Due to the ongoing police investigation, I am not willing to sign any additional leases or documents from the company releasing them of any liability of the previous burglaries that have been allowed to happen due to their negligence.  

    While they have been in contact, that is not the issue. It is their lack of action to secure my unit and rectify the situation. I was first notified of the compromise to my unit on **** ****. I was again notified on ******** *** of a burglary to my unit and irreverable damage to the door of my unit. Upon inspection of the door and locking mechanism, it was discovered that it had never been fixed from the original **** incident. Since ******** ***, my unit has been left wide open until just this last Friday, ******** **** when they replaced the door. During that time, my unit was burglarized multiple times, resulting in invaluable loss. My personal property was left exposed for 35 days, with nothing being done by the company to secure the unit I had a signed agreement for.

    I am uncertain about the next steps, but I plan to pursue legal action due to their negligence. At the very least, I would like this formal complaint to serve as a notice to current and prospective customers of this business regarding the experience I, as a paying customer, have encountered and the issues that have arisen due to their negligence.

    Thank you for reaching out to us. We have been made aware of the situation and have been in constant contact with Mr. ******** We have offered him different solutions free of charge to him and he has declined them because he does not want to sign a new rental agreement with our company. He was able to file a self storage insurance claim for the incident and has already received money. We have continued to be in communication with him and are working to get the situation resolved.
