Hired Trace Knight to replace a fence and installed a gate which was never done nor had the skills . Trace Knight is a fraud . We paid him to get the crazy man and his friends off our property and lives for . $1500 . For a few post that wasnt in the estimate and replace no panel to save money . I had to go out today and secure more nails in the fence as they only put one nail to support the old panel , The nail wasnt fastened to the post . He had augured against his own estimate he wrote and price . I cant believe hes getting away with this workmanship . It would take too long to tell all that happened almost came to blows - he is a male chauvinist pig as well ., very disrespectful besides the bad workmanships. Home owners beware of Trace Knight ****

In the 35 years in this industry, this is the first and only such review I have ever had. The lien on the home is in process for the amount they truly owe me for the work completed. I was contacted by Mr. ***** to repair existing fence that I later discovered needed to be replaced completely. We spoke about what he wanted and a quote was submitted to him in the amount of $1500 for the scope of work discussed. He agreed with the price and we went to begin the work the next day, but upon arrival we found the fence was a lot worse than originally discussed, in fact, the entire property was in complete disrepair, home and grounds. We then discussed the best way to fix it accordingly and that the cost for repairing the entire fence would be $3500. Mr. ***** agreed. We began making the requested repairs to the fence on day one as discussed with Mr. ************ The next day, upon arrival, Mrs. ***** came out and was very verbally abusive to me and my workers. I tried to diffuse the situation professionally, however, the more I tried to appease her, the more verbally abusive she got. She made several threats to not pay for any work completed. I and my team continued to make the requested repairs, several items that were not in the original quote were added to try to appease *******, however upon completion of work, I was only given $300 when they still owed much more. Customers like this are a drain on the industry as they are only after what they can get for free. I bent over backwards to try to make this couple happy.
