I own an auto body shop, and a customer came in with a car that needed repairs to the front bumper reinforcement. We totally replaced the reinforcement with another used one, and welded it in the factory weld spots. My auto body tech is ICAR certified and is certain he did the welding to OEM specs. He then put seam sealer on the welds so they won't ever rust, and we put the front bumper and energy absorber back on. My customer then took it here to be inspected, again, and they failed her car for the front reinforcement not being welded correct? and said to take the "glue" off...I can assure you we don't use GLUE. It was seam sealer. I asked if they removed the front bumper to even see the reinforcement, CANNOT see the reinforcement over the absorber flanges. We tried. All this at $125.00 per inspection. Same as the other inspection complaint, it was an inaccurate assessment.

Incredibly un concerned about getting customers in & out in a timely manner and fashion, more concerned about standing around and gossiping with locals not even there to do business. so called technicians couldnt even find proper vehicle even with ticket for work ********************* had to ask several customers multiple times who the vehicle they were to inspect was and who owned it. Technicians seemed more pressed to stand around outside inspection bay chatting in a circle like they were at a bbq than actually working. Meanwhile cars and customers kept piling up 3-4 cars deep outside bays. ****** behind the desk was very short, snappy and rude, as if she was burdened to be there.I thought I was taking my used salvage titled vehicle for a official (ASE) road safety test to determine if it would be safe to *************** NOT the case at all! Me, working at a Acura dealership for 6 years after he brought me the supposed inspection report for ROAD SAFETYnot correct welds on accident collision repair that said failed, I began to try to explain to the uninformed individual his assessment was incorrect. He brushed me off (Im assuming because he knew he was wrong). So, I went to the office to speak to the owner and tried to explain to her I just spoke to a service manager at a Acura dealership about the airbag mis diagnosis and when I did, she extremely quickly and rudely refused to listen and handed me my paperwork and told me leave, she was done and stormed back into the office like a small child throwing a fit. This is EXTREMELY wrong.irresponsible and unacceptable behavior. I can only pray for these folks they see what they are doing is wrong, and they are scamming people out of $125. Ive never, never had a automotive business make me pay for services upfront! Unless, it was ordering special parts. Someone needs to go investigate this business, if your a ********* and think this is ok . phewwww! I pray for these folks. They know right from wrong!!! ??
