Shawn Williams took $8,000 cash, from me 2 months ago & signed a contract saying that he would do work to my vacant duplex to have the better unit able to move into by January. He only worked about 2 hours a weekend, until Thanksgiving. He started the deck & the front porch & replaced one facia board on the front of the house to date. He called me & asked if I would co-sign a car loan for him. I did not. I believe he bought a used car with my $8000 for his ****************************************************************************** ********** **, for Thanksgiving with son in that car. Since Thanksgiving he has only worked one time & redid the crooked boards he put on the front porch. He tells me he'll do what he promised, but today he told me he doesn't remember signing a contract & asked me to send it to him. The day I paid him $8000 we signed the contract, he took a picture of it with his phone & asked if I want to get a picture right then. I told him I had the original. Since that day I have looked for that contact and have not been able to find it. I reminded him of the conversation today, knowing he took the original, and that's why now he's lying that he doesn't remember that contract. However, he does remember a contract he signed a month or so before. The only reason I gave him that cash up front is because he did another project for me the month before & met a crucial deadline when the *************** was set to demolish my abandoned primary house, unless it was secured. (*****************************, another RIP & RUIN contractor, took $65,000 cash in 2014 & left my home unlivable. I was sole caregiver of my WWII veteran father at the time & couldn't deal with it & walked away to care for my father who died at 92.) Shawn contracted to secure that abandoned ********* classic vehicles too. He didn't secure the ******** lost them, city towed them away. Says he's ********* but lies, cheats, steals. More info of his scams, address in Decatur. Lets **** Help me!
