  I hired Mr. ********************** to do the taxes on my mother's estate back in 2021. He said he had taken care of it but I never got the refund. He would never return my calls or messages. I had to wait till the 2022 tax year to catch him at his office just so I could talk to him. He said it was ***'s fault and he would handle it. I went to his office several times during the tax season and he said he talked to the *** and took care of it and I should get the refund in a few weeks. It never came. So here I am trying to call him and leaving messages to him with no response. I spent the entire day today on the phone and was told that neither federal nor state taxes were ever filed. I paid him $425 to do my mother's estate taxes and they were never filed. Now I will have to get a different CPA to take care of this.

  Mr. ********************** was hired to file three of my children's state and federal tax returns by April 15, 2022. My daughter was owed a refund that never came. We started calling him about it in May. We continued to call, email and text him repeatedly over the next six months. He completely ghosted us. I finally got ONE call back that he had some "personal issues". He stated that he did file the taxes and he would send proof of that the next day. That never happened. We continued to call, text and email. I even drove to his office at different times and days of the week to catch him in the office but no one ever answered the door. Finally, six months later we hired an attorney. He did respond to her. He was late on practically every request she made and repeatedly did not forward the complete information she requested. Apparently he never filed ANY of the state or federal tax returns. Seven months later, on November 15th, we received proof that he mailed their tax returns. It is unfortunate that we had to hire an attorney to get an answer from him. If he really had "personal issues" for 7 months, so much so that he could not perform his job or respond at all to a text, phone call or email, then he should have paid someone to take over his responsibilities and communicated that. He does have an assistant. Why couldn't she have contacted us? Instead he could not have been more irresponsible and unprofessional. We are beyond disappointed that we had to hire an attorney to get him to respond and actually file their taxes. Maybe now our daughter will get her refund. We will NEVER use him again.
