    My wife and I are very dissatisfied with the processing time of our $1500 deposit placed in August 2024 for a residence for our mother. We decided against moving forward with the process and properly requested to be refunded in September 2024. It seems to us that the organization is 'dragging their feet' in processing the return. We have been promised the return would be processed and mailed to us already, but we have not received the refund check. They have not even started a trace on the mail, even though we have requested it. The local agency continues to 'pass the buck' to their headquarters, stating it is an issue with converting to a new accounting system. Unfortunately, they don't even know what corporate office the check is to be issued from! The local executive director, ******** ********, has been apologetic and polite but has not been able to deliver on any promises she has made for the refund of our deposit. She has not returned calls after promising to "email corporate with the issue". We would not recommend doing business with this company in the future. -- ****** ********
