I’m a hot shot driver and my trailer needed some work done to it, took it to Best Trailers 1347 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Pkwy Byron Ga 31008. Joey (say he is the manager) is the guy that we discussed everything with the estimate, what was wrong with the trailer. Roger the owner, and also Joeys dad. lied and claimed he worked for Joeys dad. They lied about trailer needing some tires, and a actuator., say the total wouldn’t be over $6,000. When we went to pick trailer up it was $7,500 because of a actuator that trailer didn’t need, nor did they ever contact us about replacing the actuator and putting a new one on for $1,500. They claim the actuator that was on trailer was wrong one which was a lie lol. They put same part they say was wrong one in the box that they had ordered new one and both had same part number on them. Not only that my hubbie came home and wired the wrong one(LOL) back up and the trailer breaks began to work properly! We reported them to Better Business Bureau and we are talking to a lawyer. Just some junk all the way around. It’s a lot more to the story just to much to type the police also had to get involved.

When Mr Rickards brought his trailer in for repair, he stated that he had purchased the trailer with bad brakes.  Upon looking at the trailer, doing a visual inspection and based off of what the customer told us, a verbal quote was given of $6000 parts/labor to repair.  Once the parts arrived and we done the brake and rotor replacement/repair, we realized the brakes would not work with the actuator that was on the trailer.  Because we could not test the brakes without the actuator working, we decided it was necessary to replace the actuator to complete the job. This increased the cost of the repair to $7500. Because it was necessary, I did not call the customer to ask if he wanted us to change it.  When he arrived and was given the cost of the repair, he became very upset. We explained the increase was due to a necessary part that was installed.  He was still upset. He called the police, not sure why or what he thought they would do as there had been no criminal activity involved.  We had already offered to take the actuator back off and the total repair would then be the $6000 that was quoted.  We finally did take the actuator off, he paid the bill as originally quoted and left. I am not sure why he feels like a lawyer needs to be involved in any of this. He paid as quoted, service was performed as quoted,  and he now has his trailer back and apparently was able to repair the actuator he had previously had  which could have possibly just needed new wires as they did look like they could have been damaged. Furthermore, Customer also left here with flat tires.  He was advised that they needed to be changed.  He implied that we did something to flatten the tires, however, they more than likely have a slow leak somewhere. When he brought the trailer in, it was noted and pictures show that the brakes/rotors were so bad and got so hot that they completely melted. In addition, Joey Fuller is the service manager and handles all matters when necessary and Rodger Fuller Jr does own the company and is involved in day to day operations as well.

Making deal with me and lack of their communication while taking my deposit they sold the trailer from under me. I was a past customer, now I really was a past customer and never will be again. **! One star is too high. Buyers beware!
