    We hired Jeta, LLC in January of 2021 to do the build out of our ****************** store in ****, **. Jeta LLC represented themselves as a Georgia incorporated and registered business. Jeta had never done a build out of a Nothing Bundt Cakes store, however, during the bidding process *********************** and *************************** highlighted their experience building other stores; they assured us they knew what they were doing. *********************** confirmed we would be their first Nothing Bundt Cakes store and promised they would do an excellent job as they wanted us to be a reference for other franchise owners.As soon as the project started, all sorts of problems came up and our build out was never done on time and or to spec. Once they received their 90% payment, they disappeared. In total, Jeta, LLC has not paid subcontractors in excess of $100,000. We have also had to spend over $15,000 to have jobs finished/fixed. Along with $40,000 in legal fees. After two years of following the *** arbitration process (*********************** nor *************************** never bothered to show up) we won a judgement against Jeta, LLC. The arbitrator issued an award in our favor in the amount of $120,341.21, plus an order for Jeta to reimburse us $5,350 for *** and arbitrator fees. Unfortunately, Jeta, LLC is not incorporated or registered in the state of GA and no GA ******* claims them as a DBA.
