    I had a truly outstanding experience working with ****** at A Step Above Stables. While the first horse I purchased didn't end up being the right fit, the way the situation was handled showed the seller's true professionalism and integrity. They were understanding and supportive, took the horse back without hesitation, and worked closely with me to find the perfect match. Thank you A Step Above Stables!

    I met the team at A Step Above Stables over a year ago. They helped us find four horses for our family. Anytime I had questions, they were always willing to help and only a phone call away. I am grateful for everything they were willing and able to do for us.

    After months of research, we thought wed finally found the perfect beginner-friendly horse. When we arrived at A Step Above Stables, the horse we came to see looked offpossibly injured. During the demo ******, it began to buck. They called it, and showed us a second horse.That second horse wasnt demoed in a ring (which we now realize might have revealed issues), but it didnt show immediate problems. It was $1,000 over our $15,000 budget, but the seller said hed meet us in the middle from his planned $17k price. I assumed it had the same level of training as the first.We were told there was high interest, so we placed a $2,000 deposit that day, and paid the remaining balance Monday. The seller sent a video showing the horse didnt spook at loud sounds, which reassured us. But red flags began to pile up.We asked for the bill of sale, *******, and vaccine records before delivery. He promised to send them with the horse. Only the ******* came. The bill of sale arrived via Messengerunfinished. The vet records were delayed until Monday.The horse arrived with no halter. The hauler nearly lost control unloading it. Our boarder stepped in and immediately noticed: the horse couldnt be haltered, turned its hind aggressively, had visible conformation issues, a scar near a leg joint, and was clearly not beginner-safe.We contacted the seller, who claimed ignorance. Only then did he mention an exchange-only guaranteedespite having previously said, We guarantee all horses for 30 days, with no mention of restrictions.The vet and farrier confirmed the leg injury was old and would limit use to walking. The ******* failed to disclose the scar (required by law). The listed vet only treats cats/dogs and did not examine the horse. Vaccines were seller-administered. That vet later told us theyd warned the seller about this horseand he replied, That will be the buyers *********** that **** requested a refund, he has stopped responding.

    e bought a horse from ****** for our daughter. Absolutely the best decision. They were very upfront and honest and so knowledgeable. The prices perfectly reflect what you are getting. Super nice stables, and very informative crew. They have responded to every question in a very quick timeframe. 10 out of a 10! If you want a horse that is bomb proof they are your people!

    I cant say enough good things about ****** and A Step Above Stables! I was looking for a safe, safe , safe ( did I say safe??) trail horse. After talking to ****** I made the decision to put my trust in him to find me my horse. I had been looking on my own for months with no luck and a lot of frustration. I have had my horse for 3 weeks and we just came back from a weekend camping trip. He was perfect, and I couldnt be happier! I will absolutely recommend ****** to anyone looking to buy a horse. He will take care of you!!Thank you ******!!!

    I just got my Maine **** kitten from Mr ****** and I could not be happier. She has the best temperament and is already settling in with us and playing quite happily with my dogs! Thank you ****** and *****!! Absolutely love this kitty.

    I had a great experience! My daughter loves trail riding and is starting to barrel race with her sweet buckskin paint. He is everything A Step Above Stable promised. A great confidence builder for a developing rider.

    There is no written contract, they will not give me my deposit back. I am having truck issues and unable to afford a horse right now at the moment truck broke down after I sent the deposit. Statue of frauds states that if there Needs to be a written contract for goods over $500 including the sale of horses. Which there has not been a contract yet he still will not give me my money back.

    I bought a horse from ****** that didnt work out for me. ****** honored his 30 day guarantee and exchanged my horse for another one. My new horse is perfect!

    We were totally impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of ************************* and his team. I absolutely love our ********************************. He is extremely well trained, kind and very healthy. He is fitting in well with our other 3 horses. ****** helped us with a shipper to bring ****** to our property in northeast ****. This horse is worth every ***** we paid for him. We highly recommend a Step Above Stables. *********************
