Run. Do not use this company! They started out doing well for the first two weeks, for each of the following NINETEEN weeks it has gone horribly. Will update more soon.

My water heater burst and water flooded some of my hardwood flooring in the livingroom and laundry room. ServPro was called by my insurance company *********** ******** to get the water up. They came in with 8 big green machines, took up some of my hardwood floors in my livingroom, hall and pantry closet, put several holes in the wall and hooked up the machines. They kept them there for 3 straight days which costed $10,000.. Afterwards they made sure that the water was all up and then they left. After a week of not hearing from them about repairing my floors, I called ServPro and was told that it was a different process and that I would have to call my insurance company to get them to come back out and do that process which meant more money. I called my insurance company and they said they would contact ServPro. ServPro contacted me and gave me an estimate for $7,000 and that I would have to pay $3800 upfront for them to start. First, none of this was discussed when they were tearing up my floors, I thought that once the water was up that they would fix my floors after the process automatically. ServPro is a total rip-off. I cancelled the contract and now they want a $1,000 cancellation fee.

Did not complete the work that was requested by my insurance company. After they were payed, I had to ask them to return and demo the fire damage. They were supposed to wipe down all the rooms, clean the electronics and furnishings in order to remove the soot, which was never done.

From start to finish ServePro of Augusta, in Evans, has been on our side helping us address our flooding issue. They came quickly to address our flooding issue at 2:00am and provided their expertise outlining the potential options to address it. Based on the options, we proceeded with implementing mitigation immediately. Then, they sent out Ryan, who was our project manager throughout the rest of project. Ryan made it clear that he was on our side and ensured that he would work hard for us to receive the maximum amount of money from our insurance claim to address our situation. Ryan and his team gave us upfront costs that matched with what the insurance deemed acceptable with for reimbursement. Ryan also ensured that only the highest quality contractors would be working on our remediation. The end result was that we were able to go with cheaper options towards some facets of the project and were able to put the extra money towards nicer carpeting than we had before that was perceivably much less than what it would have cost to replace them (wife was very happy). The only hiccup and slight possible improvement that we might have for their team was that their was a slight communication breakdown regarding payment due dates (we didnÂ’t know that there was one) that resulted in an increase of our bill. This was to support the cost to start the lean process, which we perceived as unnecessary as we had just found some new mildew and we were still in communication with Ryan whether or not we would be covered. All this to say, we immediately and promptly resolved the issue with a quick call to their finance personal, who ensured we paid the original cost, which we paid on **/**/2022.
To summarize: ServePro of Augusta provides phenomenal service and I canÂ’t recommend Ryan and his team enough. I believe they are the gold standard for home remediation services and the ServePro headquarters team should be proud of their Augusta, Georgia office in Evans.
