      Checked my credit report and theres a random collection from this company on there for $251. Why in the world why I ever let ANYTHING go to collections and affect my credit in a negative way for $251! This is NOT my debt. I need this removed from my credit ASAP.

      Was called by Jeffery from Contract Callers. Said I needed to verify my address and last 4 of social. I said you called me you already have the info. He said he had to
      Verify it with me. I asked why was he calling he wouldn’t say until I verified my info. First off they called me I’m not verifying anything. If you can’t simply tell me why your calling then we don’t need to speak. No one else is gonna pay my bills. I told him do not call back and hung up. I have had this company call me at 8:50 at night and wouldn’t answer. Just seems very suspicious. There are way too many scammers out there waiting to steal your info. Plus there are no signed contracts with this company so legally they cannot call me to collect money for anything.

      Have a collection that is paid in full will not correct information on my credit report after calls to verify 0 balance

      The account was paid in full on *****/2023. As a data furnisher, we are required to send a file to the credit reporting agencies once a month. A file was sent to the credit reporting agencies to delete from the credit. Please note that we are only required to update the credit report as paid in full, not delete the infomration. We were deleting the information as a courtesy.

      Contract Callers does operate ethically/legally. They attempted to send me to collections for a debt that was not mine. I provided the documentation and submitted the dispute. Collection removed. 3 months down the road, they’re trying to send me to collections again for the same thing. Should not be allowed to operate.

      As stated, it was successfully disputed and removed. Your company is acting improperly by reassigning it to my credit. I have already disputed the account again.
