This Pearle Vision's service was the worst. The owner is ***********************. I had to go there 6 times between November 16, 2022, and January 9, 2023, to get my correct functional eyeglasses prescription. The manager and owner's niece, *************************, gave excuses including no lab technician, new employees lacking proper training, being unfamiliar with lens crazing to "I only help out with backend stuff". I picked up the eyeglasses the first time on December 5, but they needed adjusting. The right temple was obviously stretched out. The young lady who gave them to me asked, "What do you want me to to do?" I later found out she was the owner's niece, *************************. I went back 5 days later for an adjustment because the glasses kept sliding down my nose. This time I was told that they lost their lab technician. The young lady took them in the back and brought them back. They were very warm but were no longer sliding down my nose. I thought the right lens was dirty, but it turned out to be crazed (series of small scratches resulting from overheating the coating). The manager, *****, said they would need to keep the eyeglasses and order 2 new lenses. Meanwhile, I paid $1095.35 on 11/16/22 instead of waiting until January 1 (insurance would've covered) because my outdated prescription was giving me headaches, and I had end-of-the-year reports to complete. When I realized they weren't going to be able to provide the eyeglasses before Jan 1, I requested a refund as I could use my insurance. They said they didn't give refunds but could give me an "extra pair of eyeglass lenses to put in another frame". I told the manager and the owner's niece that was unacceptable and I wanted to return the eyeglasses for a full refund or at least a 25% discount off the $1095. ****** said she would have to "talk to my uncle and get back to you by Monday". I asked why she wasn't writing any information down, and she said, "I have a good memory". Needless to say, I never heard from her.
