I worked in the HR Department at Georgia Aquarium and the entire department is a joke. Including Senior Leaders. I conducted most exit interviews. What I took from the interviews is that the animals are more valued than the employees. As a former employee. I can say that is TRUE! I recently quit and my complaints often fell on deaf ears. It has now been 2 weeks since I quit and senior leadership has not called to see why I left. Maybe because they don't care. I know they don't.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Let me start first by saying Georgia Aquarium needs to hire security thats more alert and will follow through with pro conduct. While exiting the aquarium my daughter got to excited about the gift shop and ran off on me. When I told security whos inside before the glass doors she laughed and told me ask an officer who was not only not paying attention to what was going on and on his phone. Also told me he couldnt do nothing about it with a smile on his face. We are talking about a child who could possibly ended up kidnap without no help of security. Georgia Aquarium needs to have a safety plan when it comes to a situation like this. Especially with the times we live in today.

Price too high looks like you going to a restaurant ,asking do you have reservations? In a very rude mode. Is like going on a busy mall to see the poor animals. No natural lighting .

I purchased five tickets for my family. The place was horribly packed. There were kids pushing, etc. my 14 month old Got knocked down twice. The amount of people inside the aquarium constitutes a for hazards some of the areas, you couldnt event turn back as there were so many peoples I feared that the children were going to be trampled on. Certainly not worth the 315 I paid. I had to leave after 30 minutes.
