Although I felt that the initial inspection was thorough, I was told my guesthouse had no termite activity. This was later found to be untrue. I was assured by multiple ***** employees that the treatment chemicals used were safe for humans and pets and only being used in the attic and behind the walls ********************** However, during the attic treatment, I experienced a severe allergic reaction, including eye burning, throat tightness, muscle spasms, stomach pain, weakness, and headache. I had to leave my home mid-treatment and when I returned home around 7pm I began experiencing the same symptoms and made the decision to stay in a hotel overnight due to the intensity of the reaction. When I returned the following morning after my hotel stay, I discovered chemical solution on the ground and on some of my personal clothing, despite being told the treatment would only occur in walls and the attic. This is unacceptable. I spoke with the service area manager, ***** *******, a few days later and he was dismissive and simply DID NOT CARE. The following day someone came by to relocate a bait station, and when I explained my concerns and experience with the treatment he asked me if my A/C duct system was in my attic, to which I responded "yes". He told me that in the future I should turn off my A/C system during treatment and for a few hours following treatment something I was never told, and which likely worsened my reaction as the chemicals circulated through my home. During the treatment of my attic, the technician wore a mask, but since I was at home working, I was breathing in the chemicals the entire time I was there. This is a huge oversight and had I known this, I would've turned off the a/c and avoided all this mess. I called ***** twice after finding this out, and he was away from his desk both times, and when I left a message with his office administrator, I never received a call back. I contact Orkin because i purchased and old house in the ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ that i had a problem with bats ,of course I wanted to rid my home of the rodents i was given a price for over ******************************************************************************************************************************************************* that is is a hole that needs to be blocked to stop the entry of the squirrels from being able to get into my attic i have asked to talk to the manager ******** who promised me she would look into the problem and call me back she never returned my call and every time i call she is never in the office i feel like i am being taken advantage of and ignored with my complaints that i have paid to have taken care of i even asked to speak to the manager that's over ******** seeking help and still i have not receives any type of feed back FROM ORKIN I am very frustrated waking up to the sounds of rodents running in the attic I feel like a prisoner in my own home Orkin did not have a problem taking my money but they are not keeping there word to the customer I will continue to call until the issue is solved if i am continue to be i ignored i will contacting legal action for a small claim reimbursement of my money so i can find another pest control company that values there cutomers Thank you FRUSTRATED UNHAPPY CUSTOMER WHO JUST WANTS WHAT SHE PAID FORReview fromGwendolyn A

I have been a Home Team customer for over 20 years. In Feb. I paid my yearly sentricon fee. In April, they did my yearly inspection. All was good. The next day, in my spam folder was a notice cancelling my termite bond. I called. No reason other than **** decides to not cover some homes periodically and a very indifferent manager. 3 days later they sent a tech to remove the sentricon plugs. They are supposed to give 30 day notice according to the contract. I sent the tech away. 10 days later he showed up again to remove the system. ( they have to remove them ) SO, there lack of customer loyalty will now cost me $1,000 to have another company reinstall The sentricon system. I cancelled all my other services with them. Be aware. They were bought out by Rollins a few years ago. New management.Review fromKenny K

Great services until they get paid. We called them to discuss sounds we heard in the wall. They promptly came out and suggested we redo the insulation in our attic. They informed us that their insulation had boric acid in it to prevent bugs from coming into the house. We signed the contract, and we were told someone would call us the day before to let us know what time someone would come the next day. We were never called. Instead, a team showed up and had no idea that we purchased additional items besides the insulation. Due to a language barrier, it was hard to communicate with the workers. I had to **** down the gentleman we signed the contract with, who in turn had to **** down the manager. After all that was sorted out, the manager never came on site as we were told to inspect the work. Since that day, we have reached out several times to get someone from the team to come out and inspect the work no one has reponseded, including the manager *****. I still see stink bugs coming in from the attic along with lady bugs. It does not seem the boric acid is doing anything. First off yall dont deserve a 1 star I hired this company back in sept to handle bugs here we are in April and the bugs have multiplied when we called for in between services they would always cancel or reschedule but when it was time for scheduled visit they showed up with hand out.. listen to the prerecorded message when you call and plan on the exact opposite. Also I want to add they will argue with you and say they dont see bugs my wife and I had to find the bugs take their hand and show them where they was bc they didnt even do a **** inspection. Unless you like just throwing money away higher someone else. When I called cancel service they pleaded for one more change well today I demanded a refund of incompetent workmanship they said we cant we will give you a couple service calls back via check these people are below the bottom of the barbellRollins, Inc.

I am currently under contract with *****. I unfortunately was fooled by their account Manager ******** ****** who got me for $6,575.15 for termite prevention, attic hatch/seal and exterior seal. I had mice problems in the basement and bat problems in the attic. Im still hearing scratching in the attic and I had an appointment on Monday March 10th, 2025 with ***** ****** and ******* ********* (branch manager) at 10:30am. No call no show, a whole entire day wasted and they didnt have the decency to call me in advance to let me know they couldnt make it nor offer me a rescheduled date. Instead, I reached out to ***** ****** via text and his response was. I apologize maam we will need to reschedule I was taken away for the day due to emergency. Today is April 3, 2025, and I still have not received a reschedule date for them to come take care of the scratching noises in my attic nor the hole in my roof where the seal came apart. This company is a complete scam and I wished I wouldve listened to my coworkers who are homeowners and told me not to sign up with *****. ****buyer beware ****do not call ***** for any reason! I canceled my service with this company several years ago for lying and telling me a service was completed when a technician was never at my house. I have security cameras that surround my house and showed nothing the entire day that the tech supposedly completed service. I refused payment until they completed service, so they sent me to collections and refused to complete service. Recently, I received a voicemail requesting service for my pest control service that was done the month prior. I thought it was my current company, so I called and paid without another though. the price was the same. I found out after that it was the wrong company and they refused to refund my money. I had to contact my bank to try to dispute it, but because I no longer have the camera footage or documentation from three years ago, they refused a refund. Im so upset That I paid these scam artists money for services that were never completed.Rollins, Inc.

I had them come after finding evidence of mice after cold snap. No problems since house was built in 2003. They were prompt in sending someone out next day. However, The guy was young. Pleasant but told me I had major infestation. He gave me an estimate of ****** dollars ( which he claimed was 5000 discount). He gave options of different payment plans. He said I needed to replace my insulation and some weather stripping. I got another estimate from another company who only treat for mice. I did not need all ***** said. Our company was contracted by Orkins Gaithersburg branch to detail their vehicles, and despite completing the work as agreed, they have refused to pay the invoice. Their excuse? That the keys were locked in the vehicle and they need a $75 payment from us prior to them taking care of the invoice for the services we provided. When the owner told the manager that he locked the keys in the vehicle he was told "that's ok, we'll take care of it". This changed after the invoice became overdue by more than 90 days.We have documented attempts to communicate with the branch manager, including timestamps showing that our messages were reviewed but ignored. Only after late fees were added did the Gaithersburg branch manager finally reach out not to resolve the payment issue, but to demand that we waive the late fees and discount the invoice to cover a supposed "lock-out" fee. If this had truly been an issue, it should have been addressed long before the account became severely **************, at well over 120 days past due, we still have not received payment, nor have we received any further communication. As a small, minority-owned business, we take pride in providing excellent service at fair prices. We put significant effort into detailing these vehicles, only to be met with complete disregard and unprofessionalism.This is, without a doubt, the worst situation we have encountered in our five years of business. What makes it even more disappointing is that I personally know the individual involved. If this is how they treat a known acquaintance, I can only imagine how they handle other business relationships.If you value professionalism, honesty, and reliability, I strongly recommend staying away from this company.
