  Definitely a scam. Vice president stepped down.. President takes a month off yet we are still getting charged monthly membership fees. They change dates of RSVP dates. The time is always to be announced. The calendar is pretty much filler of possible events that hardly ever comes to terms. The black woman empowerment is not truly represented here. Women are power driven by titles. They have no funds to do events. No energy due to work and family lives. They need to do this right or not at all. This group is giving **** and clout chasing against other groups. Members hardly engage online better yet socially in public. The ladies are clique based and moving slow with everything. This group had potential but was not equipped to execute the vision of being a successful positive black girl. I dont know behind the scenes but something is coming off wrong. They have 21 vacant president positions and 44 vacant vice president positions available. I had 2 friends to join after me and we have yet to do an event that my friends welcomed enough to attend. No protocol or promotion about the events that are months out. I wrote a grievance to the head and nobody ever responded. They also sent out a mass email about the behinds text from the president. Fraudulent do not join this fake group of women in your city.

  I regret joining such an organization. The reason being is because their finance department works horribly and collects money from you regardless of your canceled subscription. Also their organization does not work diligently to ****** a community of women that supports their mission statement. The CEO is blinded to the fact that her divisions are not operating in the manner she had intended to, nor does she involve herself to make sure it is. In theory, it sounds nice but in productivity it fails.

  You want to support your people but there is NO accountability for the lack of leadership and mismanagement of this organization. Several of us members have tried to cancel for this very reason and are given the run around and STILL billed every month. ****** is out of touch and lacks depth and clarity and I truly wish her the best but not on the dime of other black professionals in exchange for nothingness. Beware of the scam ladies! DO NOT SUPPORT OR JOIN. It will be h*** in high water to try and cancel, even if and when they dont make good on their end.

  Ive been contact with this organization for months. I been trying to cancel my membership because I dont know if Im member. Completed an application and no word on if my application has been accepted. The good thing is I contacted my bank to stop payment since I havent heard from anyone from this organization.

  I've been a member for the past two years. The first chapter I joined was very active. However, every time the leadership changed, the group would become less and less active. I was eventually able to switch to a chapter that was closer to me (the closer chapter wasn't open for membership when I originally joined). That chapter started off pretty active and then eventually declined in their activity level as well. My original email to the membership was asking if this chapter would become inactive (which would temporarily pause our fees) because we hadn't heard from our chapter leaders in months but we were still paying. I never got a response. After not reaching anyone, I decided to cancel. This is where the bigger issue began. I have now been trying to cancel my membership for over a month now and have not been able to reach anyone. No one responded when I sent a message through their "contact us" section on the site. No one responded when I emailed their membership email address. I had contact emails for two staff, they never responded. I've been talking to someone on their Instagram page but they keep saying to email. There is no telephone number so you can't cancel by calling. The membership portal doesn't work so you can't cancel that way either. The only way to cancel is via email, and like I said, no one responds. In the meantime, they are still taking the membership fees from my bank account.

  Horrible member service. I had a simple inquiry regarding login to continue my legacy account and none of my 2 chapter leaders, the social media manager, or the point of contact via email has assisted. I am very close to cancelling. Terrible.
