    Ironically, this business is absolutely garbage. They have not picked up the four times I have left trash out for the previous two months despite my apartment complex requiring a monthly fee for the service.

    At Trash Butler, we are committed to providing reliable and consistent service to all of our customers. We take all concerns seriously and continually strive to meet the service expectations outlined in our agreements with both individuals and property management partners.


    Upon reviewing the complaint, we found no prior service tickets or direct communication from the customer to our office regarding missed pickups. Our protocol requires customers to report any service issues promptly so that we can address them in a timely manner. Without a formal report or notice from the customer, we were not made aware of any concerns until this BBB filing.


    Additionally, it is important to note that Trash Butler operates in accordance with the contract terms set by the apartment community, which includes service schedules and procedures for proper trash placement. In many cases, service interruptions may occur due to non-compliance with these guidelines (e.g., trash not placed out during designated pickup times), which is outside of our control.

    We are happy to work directly with the customer to resolve any outstanding concerns and encourage them to contact our office so we can verify the situation and provide assistance.


    Given that we were not afforded the opportunity to address or correct the issue prior to this complaint, we respectfully request that the BBB consider these factors in the review and posting decision.

    Trash butler is an unreliable service. I have used them at my apartment complex for the past year and half. Unfortunately, they often do not pick up trash or leave a bag behind despite following the rules. If you live on the 3rd floor, do not expect them to consistently pick up your trash. I have emailed many times and I get the same response with no changes. I should have not had to contact a trash company many times. I can see why they have a D- rating. I would avoid using this company as they are unreliable and very inconsistent.

    I am tired of paying for mandatory trash butler service as well as a ***** dumpster fee charge for my apt. Every month.I am a senior citizen and $50-$55 for approx 5 bags of trash & 2 bags of recycle seems outrageous to me. Is this even legal? Being double billed for garbage service is really upsetting me.

    The most unprofessional company I've encountered. Several times a month they don't show up or just pick up some of the trash. I have called multiple times and they do not care at all. Save yourself the stress and pick any other company than Trash Butler.

    Good Evening, Trash Butler is supposed to be providing trash pickup services in the apartment/townhome complex that we rent/live in. Increasingly over the past couple of months they have not provided trash pickup services as contracted (sometimes days in a row) and I contacted their office and a *************************, Customer Experience Coordinator, keeps responding to my emails, but my request for return calls goes unacknowledged. Today, via email I was advised by her that "the information she has requested from me does not match the unit list the my property office gave her office, and she'd get with the property to see why this was missing from the rent roll so the pickup manager can document service to hold their team accountable". I have lived in the ***************** ******************* for the past 6 months and have no idea what a rent roll is. She further states "the pickup manager is aware of the issue of my trash not being picked up and will take the necessary steps to make sure my unit is collected moving forward", yet once again, tonight, the trash still was not picked up even though I took a picture of my trash bin put outside my office before trash pickup at 7:00!Upon speaking with my Property Manager and advising I am not going to pay the mandatory $25.00 fee for a service I am not being provided, as Trash Butler's service is inadequate. I've followed all of their rules and never received a courtesy call from ************************* explaining a resolution of this issue. As I understand our property manager spoke with their office to discuss the repeated complaints from me about my trash not being picked up. At this time, something needs to be done to address this company's lack of providing the services that they are being paid to do.Regards,****** ********************* Unit 300 **************************** ***************************************************************************

    DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT! TRASH BUTLER IS TRASH!!!I am a resident who have lived at my complex going on 4 years now and Trash Butler was hired last year for our complex, it's been downhill from there! They hardly ever pick up my trash. I try to be patient and would take it myself most of the time (and I still do) but it got so bad that I started documenting via video and pictures that 2 weeks would go by without them picking up my garbage. This happened twice. I called the company several times and I was told I would be put on "radar" and they would get my garbage that week and go back to not picking it up. I once came home from being out of town to a garbage can full of maggots because it's hot and my trash hadn't been picked up all week. Again, I let the apartment manager know and of course there's nothing they can do. Truthfully, they wish they could get rid of them too but they can't due to previous management signing a multi year contract. So basically, myself and so many other tenants are paying them for a service that we are having to carry out ourselves. I'm sure they will respond with all kinds of excuses to my complaint, but the truth of the matter is I've decided to bite this bullet, ride it out, and move when my lease is up because I refuse to be strong armed into fee's for services I don't get. This should not be a mandatory fee for tenants when we wind up taking the garbage out ourselves anyway. So the least I can do is warn other Apartment complexes that if you are going to do a valet trash~ DON'T USE TRASH BUTLER!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! They do nothing to fix the problems and apparently they keep hiring people who don't care about doing their job. Until that changes, THIS COMPANY IS TRASH! I have complied with all of their rules and at times they leave notes with ***** excuses for not taking the trash. Anything to get out of doing their job. TRASH BUTLER IS TRASH!!!

    This company's business practices are undoubtedly the worst I have ever encountered. Their employees are stealing packages from residents' porches, shamelessly justifying their actions by claiming they mistook the packages for trash. Despite the fact that their own policy explicitly states that they only collect trash bags or items placed in designated trash bins, they callously refuse to reimburse affected residents, citing confusion due to the package being outside. To make matters worse, I live in an apartment situated directly across from a dumpster, rendering their services unnecessary and redundant for me. Nevertheless, I am charged for this service every month, essentially paying them to steal my packages. It is beyond comprehension. Considering this alarming situation, I am left wondering where Amazon should place my packages to ensure they won't be stollen by Trash Butler. In order to substantiate my claims, I have diligently provided video evidence depicting the delivery of the package and the subsequent actions of their employee, clearly capturing the moment when the package stollen. Additionally, I sent receipts and tracking information that unequivocally establish the fact that the package was delivered a only two hours before it was brazenly stolen. Brantley D, the Field Quality Manager, is sorely lacking in both customer service skills and professional accountability, highlighting the urgent need for further training in these areas. It is my belief that such reprehensible conduct could only have been sanctioned by Brantley's superior, Mario E. The blame for these shady business practices lies squarely on their shoulders. I must emphasize that all businesses should steer clear of this company due to their deceitful practices. In order to expose their true nature.

    This company continually does not pick up trash. They charge money and for whatever reason, continually do not pick the trash. The take money but refuse to give a service. Endless lame excuses and empty apologies. They say to contact my apartment office for a refund. My apartment says to contact them. It's a lose, lose situation. Trash butler contiually says they will be better. They went literally a week without picking up trash. Tuesday the 20th until Tuesday the 27th without a pickup. But yet they keep taking our money. Where is the justice in that? How is it legal?
