"My experience there was a nightmare starting off with not using private insurance using w/c ** **** did not even examine me sat on stool looked at paperwork 5 minutes later I was out of initial”exam” referred for mri 6 weeks later after mri second appointment for an injury that happened 10 months ago another sit on the stool and antsy I ask him about the mri results and ask him to show me and detail the injury and he danced around saying a diagnosis which was 2 slipped disc in my cervical spine and pinched nerve he said he is sending me to pt I got no help with my pain no nerve blocker cortisone shot nothing and guess what he was so nervous because w/c case manager was in his office to talk to him to he ran out saying he would be back and 20 minutes later nurse opens door and is like didn’t he give you checkout paper I said no he said to wait she said oh he must have forgotten you were in here and is seeing another patient 20 minutes I was forgotten in that room why because he frowns upon w/c as does ever other doctor in the area I have worked in a law enforcement career since I was 22 I’ve worked all my life I get hurt on the job and he treats me like trash no compassion or concern for my health and well being All I can say is I see why doctors don’t wanna deal with worker’s compensation in Florida but please don’t take it out on the patient they are just as evil and rude ignorant to us so be the change be kind do your job with pride and compassion for all your patients and keep in mind that even though w/c is paying you I can’t sue them but I can you and you should be ashamed of yourself I’m still in pain and you know pt isn’t going to help me at this point your torturing me So be professional remember the medical oath and treat the janitor the same as you would the ceo"
