  I set up a move with executive vanlines I have changed my mind and I have been calling for days and gotten nothing but a busy signal I want to get my deposit back but can't get through I gave them $841 and I want it back

  Unfortunate that the rating doesn't include minus stars. I was led to believe Executive Van Lines was the actual mover and was told they had a truck in the adjacent city from my pick up location. Never was told that they were just a brokerage. This moving experience was traumatizing with intimidation, yelling and threats from the pick up movers, who incidentally came from out of state from my location. They said it would cost twice as much as the original estimate from Executive. I immediately tried calling Executive to discuss the major price differences but they were closed. The movers loaded their 26' rental truck loosely and implied the truck was full. They demanded I sign the Bill of Lading at the new price and basically held my belongings for ransom, threatening to unload my belongings behind a store. Delivery was with yet another company and several items were broken or missing. They had the same size truck as the pick up movers but their truck had five deliveries, indicating the significant difference in loaded space. Note: this move was in 2022.

  pay my deposit in the amount of $697 for a up coming moving next month, been trying to in touch with this company but i keep getting busy tone. Send out an email but nobody responded, this is just wrong people work hard for their money for another person to steal it. My job number is *********. I am going to file a lawsuit against this company.

  I was calling around to see how much it would cost for me to move. On April 28th, 2022, at 2:26 PM I was contacted by Al R. an employee with Executive Van Lines to assist me in moving my belongings from my apartment in Hillsboro OR to Linden, NJ. Iwas told the estimated price would be $1650.00. I was to pay a deposit of $689.00. I requested for the money to be withdrawn on May 3rd, 2022. After fully reading the contract, I realized the 18-wheeler would not be able to reach my apartment and they were trying to withdrawal the money, I called on April 29th at 8:05am and spoke with a manager regarding the withdrawal and to cancel the contract because of the 18-wheeler issue. I had called back at 8:16am verify the cancelation and the money would not be withdrawn from my account and was informed it would not be. (Per the contract I had 24 hours to cancel for full refund) On May 3, 2022, I discovered they took out $689.00 from my account. I called and was informed I would receive my refund with in 4 to 7 weeks. On June 2,2022 I called again and was told they would send an email to billing department. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was unable to. I continued to call and send emails thru July. In July I was told there was no record of the transaction. In August until now I call both numbers and receives a busy signal. I've tried canceling my check and was unable to because I gave them permission. I'm on SSI and cannot afford to be giving my money away. We need to start a class action lawsuit. IT IS A SCAM....

This letter is an attempt to address this unbelievable injustice to us as well as many other people who have experienced extreme loss due to contracting with Executive Van Lines. Quite honestly, I have put in careful thought in how I address this because after reading other individuals stories, you have to wonder whose experience is worse. After reading the reviews for both ******************************* Depot I have come to the conclusion that the individuals writing them as well as my fianc and I have lost our fight for justice. In the society we live in now its difficult to prepare for the financial burden it puts on someone, only to find out you have been completely taken advantage of, its so disheartening to see all the reviews sent out by people that were affected by this business and nothing being done.   Zero stars! Scammer. We scheduled move from ********** to ****** supposed to happen this week. Business is apparently closed now. Phones non-operational and emails bouncing back undeliverable. They have our $4484 deposit. Even the ********************************************* cell number non-op. We have to find a new moving company and start over. How can we get our deposit back?? I've filed a complaint with **** of ******** Affairs. Do we need to file a class action lawsuit?

  My mother put down money to use this company and now supposedly they are out of business. Never gave her her money back. And there is no one to get ahold of. Scammers

  I give zero stars. I gave deposit. Tried to get ahold of them for weeks to schedule my move date. So then had to go with other company. All the sudden I get a call from "driver" saying they are ready to pick up my stuff a month earlier than I am moving. Because this is actually a broker company. Driver says He will contact company to call me. But company never does. What a mess. Lost deposit. How unorganized. How a rip-off. Please don't use. Sad.
