I am rejecting this response because: The business is refusing to post my review. The review was very much about the property itself and others should be made aware of the location and things associated with it. Companies shouldn't be allowed to hand pick reviews and only post the positive things. That is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Many, many people book trips through online search engines such as VRBO and Airbnb and don't talk to live agents. They rely on truthful consumer reviews.

After researching the company on my return from vacation, I noticed many negative Google reviews for similar things. I expect that the company posts my review.

      Sincerely,

      Erin *****

28th with no response. I keep getting an automatic email response that someone will be in touch. The company still hasn't posted my review.

I paid $2800 for a four night stay. I feel like withholding reviews is false advertising. I absolutely would not have stayed in that part of Rosemary Beach and would have found a more quiet street for my husband and I to relax. I expect rentals to post all reviews so that consumers are properly advised and know what they are getting into.

The business has not tried to resolve or acknowledge my questions.

      Business Response

Ms. ***** had a reservation with us for April 1st -5th. The condominium she rented is located in a community on the Florida Panhandle, and her dates are for Spring Break. This is the second busiest week for most of Florida. After a guest departs, we send an email asking for feedback. We manage many properties. Some are condominium style, but most are free standing homes, which are more private.

When Ms. ***** provided feedback after departing, we responded within 72 hours. 100% of her feeback was regarding the area/community - not the property she stayed in. Florida in general, is very busy during spring break and this guest booked a condo located in the center square of the community. She booked online and did not speak with our Vacation Planners to ask questions. I have provided three attachments. 1) A snapshot of the email we send requesting feedback. 2) A snapshot of the guests feeback, including the date. Her feedback was not about the property she stayed in - just the business of a Spring Break week.  3) A snapshot of our response, including the date.

As you may know, Florida experiences high volumes of visitors during Spring Break, particularly in communities like Rosemary Beach. Ultimately, Ms. ***** made a reservation to stay on the Florida Panhandle during this busy season. We sincerely regret this was not ideal for her, and we recommend she call and speak with someone prior to booking in the future.

This guests review does not mention the property she booked. All other feedback for this home is excellent.

Our email request for feedback is for us to improve our service, and there is no guarantee we will add it to our website. Typically, guests who visit Florida assume Spring Break and Summer will be very busy, particularly with children/teenagers. Her feedback has no mention of the property itself. Again, we are very sorry that she and her husband booked a couples stay during the busiest time of year. We would recommend the next visit to the Gulf Coast be in January or February. This is our final response. We consider this matter closed.

I am rejecting this response because: The rental company is hand picking reviews to post and only positing positive reviews. My review absolutely mentioned the property and proximity of the bedroom to the elevator in this unit. There is a wide range of spring break weeks across the United States. You can't assume everyone knows this is the most popular week. Maybe that should also be disclosed on the website if you are choosing to blame the crowd instead of where this property bedroom is located.

      Sincerely,

      Erin *****
