If it was possible to give NEGATIVE Stars my review would be -3 stars. 1 Stop Generator shop included maintenance and a year of monitoring in the price when you buy a whole house generator from them. I have had my generator working for minutes and a part broke, the inspector was here and wrote up the order. They tried to charge me saying my sprinklers got into the sealed box. Funny the inspector did not mention that. Next they said a part that they installed was not under warranty because it was an outside purchase. (load ??) I did not purchase anything separately. I have no weekly monitoring anymore or warranty from them. They kept my money and refused services. They then threatened me with a made up bill to pay or else. Well they did not wait one day, they turned me over to a collection agency. I have a very expensive paper weight. That has broken my pool pump due to the load and the generator has NEVER been used. The worst company to deal with because of no accountability or customer service from the top down.

I bought a generator from 1 Stop about four years ago. I pay a lot of money for a service contract which includes an annual tune up and weekly monitoring. Each week I get an email that the unit has been remotely tested and whether it is in working order. Every time it has an error message, I have had to call them rather than they contacting me. In August we had an error message and they came out to look at the unit. They charged over $200 to tell me a needed a flywheel. It was covered by warrantee but the labor was not. They sent me an estimate of two men, six hours, at $133 per man per hour. They told me it was hurricane season and they would not order the part until I gave a 50% deposit. I really had no choice but to agree to the hefty charge. I now wonder why they needed almost $800 to order parts that were covered by warrantee. I said yes, was presented with a bill for the visit and sent an email receipt for the payment. I had the estimate, paid it and got a receipt for it. When the work was done, about a month later, I noticed that the two men spent about five hours at my home and one of them sat in the truck most of the time. It was clear that the two were not equal in training and one was there to help with the heavy lifting. I was going to complain when I got the bill. I never got a bill and when my credit card statement came I saw that, without contacting me, they had charged the other half of the total. This time I didn't get an email receipt. When I called I was told that the estimate I had received a month earlier was the bill and this is the way they do business. When I said I might have the credit card company question the charge, they said they would add fees for a returned payment. This is not a company I would ever do business with
