Joe was so honest and straightforward about the whole process. I am really happy I called these guys instead of getting scammed from online stores that are not even in the country! Joe walked me through the financing and I was able to get a wonderful engine and driving again. The price and limes were accurate and I know for all my future engine and transmission needs I will call them and I hope you do to!

company is a fraud , they sold me a complete remanufactured drop in engine and shipped me a remanufactured block and some misc parts . they then told me they would pay for the labor to finish the build on my engine ,several moths later I have not received any compensation for the labor or any of the parts that had to be purchased to complete the engine. Then the turbo they supplied failed and now the the injectors they supplied are failing , the turbo was replaced under an insurance claim and and though their warranty claims they cover parts and labor no compensation for labor was was ever received . For those of you who have givin positive reviews on this co, you probably had no warranty issues ,from my point of view their warranty is a fraud , i have spent several thousand dollar more to finish my engine because I believed and thought I was dealing with an honest broker .(do not give this company your money)

Donald's case is quite unique, to say the least.
Similar to other companies in the business of selling remanufactured motors, we do not provide guarantees for turbos, electronic parts such as glow plugs, or sensors, as well as injectors.
It is crucial to understand that in order to activate any warranty, registration is required. Our warranty follows the same principle. Both registration and installation need to be completed within 10 days of delivery. This is of utmost importance to ensure the motor remains free from debris or any potential damage that can occur by leaving it on a pallet, in or out of the shop.

    This is key.
As Donald got his motor on 9/23/22 and did not have it put in till the week of 11/28/22 two months later.

The importance of timely registration and installation becomes evident in Donald's case, particularly regarding the issue with his turbo.
He claimed to have bearing failure.  So we paid over $600 to have the turbo sent in and back for warranty coverage to Garrett, the manufacturer.
Upon inspection, Garrett found that the warranty could not be honored due to the presence of foreign material in the oil that passed through the bearings. The presence of debris caused marks on the bearings, indicating that the engine was started with contaminants. Garrett attributed this to negligence of the mechanics responsible for the motor installation and initial start-up.
It is our belief that this situation arose because Donald waited for two months before installing the motor, leaving it sitting on a pallet in the shop. Luckily when we shipped it back we got shipping insurance as UPS dropped the box on the way back and racked the casein so we were able to get the full amount to replace the turbo.
The invalidation of Donald's warranty is largely attributed to the factors mentioned. If Donald had installed the motor within the specified timeframe and registered the warranty, any arising issues would have been promptly addressed without complications. It is worth noting that our warranty is supported by reputable companies such as UPS Capital and AIG, who typically stand behind such claims.

The company is a fraud, and bad business practice. I Bought a transmission from this company on line for *****. had it deliver to *********** transmission and casing was cracked. I called the company talked to the same person who sold me the Transmission He claim *********** Transmission cracked the Transmission, but he cant prove it. So *** sends another Transmission to *********** Transmission This transmission is defective too slipping and no third gear. Call Again now he Tell me they don't have any more Transmission that would fit my truck. So the next day company call me and tell me he can sale me a reman Transmission for another $800 Thought about and changed my mind. i would have to pay *********** Transmission another $718 to install it. So me and *** talked and told I just want my money Back. He agreed at first then the next day he tell me I cant get my money unless I bring him his Transmission which he already have my Transmission, The ***** Then he tell me we got work out some type of deal besides giving me my money back. Putting his ***** on the phone to tell me he cant give me my money back because it is a small company taking people money. I did send a notice for civil action no response from the company. Statue of limitation has not ran out.

Regarding the case of ***********************, we have evidence showing that he purchased a pre-owned transmission
from our company, which had accumulated ****** miles. ******** to this email is a recording of the sales call
    for your reference.

Personally, I delivered the transmission to the shop. Upon arrival, the owner himself inspected the product and
subsequently had two mechanics remove it from my truck and place it inside the shop. The following day, we
received notification from the shop that the casing was broken. However, I can confirm that it was intact when
we initially retrieved it and delivered it to the shop.

Despite the circumstances, we offered to replace the transmission for the customer at no additional cost, even
though our supplier refused to accept the return. This replacement incurred a cost of $650 for us, as the broken
casing rendered the original transmission irreparable. Once the customer had the replacement installed, he
contacted us to report issues with two of its gears.

I informed the customer that we were willing to replace the transmission, but he insisted that we cover the labor
costs. Unfortunately, we are unable to cover any labor costs as stated during the call, as our warranty only
applies to parts for used motors or transmissions.

In response, he requested a refund, to which we explained that the only option would be to return the
transmission to the yard it originated from. However, he refused to have the transmission removed, citing
concerns that the $700 labor cost for removal would exceed the value of his truck.

To offer a compromise, we suggested having the transmission removed and replaced at our shop, which is
located 30 miles away from him. This alternative would come at a reduced cost of $500, as we do not cover

labor expenses. The technicians we work with kindly agreed to provide their services at this discounted rate,
compared to their usual fee of $750.

Despite our efforts, the customer has not responded to our calls and continues to withhold the transmission. I
have text messages along with recorded voicemails. documenting our interactions and attempts to resolve the
    situation.

We regret to inform you that the customer still possesses our transmission, and unfortunately, the window for
    returning it has now closed.

Regarding the remanufactured option, it is not provided directly by us. Instead, it would involve another
company located in ********** that specializes in rebuilding and remanufacturing transmissions. Our wholesale
cost for such transmissions is $1600. We would be willing to sell one to the customer at cost, but it would only
come with the warranty provided by the remanufacturing company, which covers parts for a duration of six
    months.
Regarding his statement about having his core, it is not relevant because our vendor will not provide a refund
for his core. Only his returned transmission we received from him. They want to have it tested upon return,
there would be a 35% restocking fee if it is found to be functional. Also, he did a chargeback on us and even
his own bank ruled in our favor saying he needed to have removed and given back the transmission to get
    anything in return.
*********************************, we genuinely appreciate the time and attention you have given to this matter. We
understand that everyone may find themselves in a situation where they feel wronged and need a voice to
address their concerns. If you require any further information or assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

*** is a stand up guy that kept it real with me. He was honest about the engine I bought and it ended up saving me money and time in the long run. The engine was delivered directly to my me mechanic as promised and now I am back on the road. I would use Top of the Line again if I need an engine or transmission. *** is a great with keeping me in the loop through the whole process

If I could rate no stars I would. I honestly cant believe the standards of this business and professionalism with this company. I ordered a new engine when my old truck died and they told me two huge lies which allowed me to proceed with the purchase of one reman engine. First - they told me that the turn around time was usually 2-3 week. It took 2-3 weeks for them to even get a used (broken) engine for them to even start working on it. 3 months. It took them over 3 months from the time I paid for it to the time I got it delivered and honestly believe if I had not been on their backs the whole time that I would still be waiting and we are in March now at the time of this writing. If they would have been honest at the turn around time and just said 3-4 months I might not have agreed to it sure but at least if I did agree to it then I would not have written this!! Second is their sales person basically lied to me about what I was actually purchasing. I repeatedly asked her if the engine I was purchasing was a complete drop in engine and she verified to me that it was more than one occasion. I even asked if the fuel injectors were either replaced or rebuilt and she assured me that they were and I agreed to the deal. 2 months into waiting for my engine, I was asking for the status and reiterated that this was already late and that I was expecting a drop in engine ready to go. The owner of the place paused for a minute and I explained to him that the sales lady said I would be getting a drop in engine including fuel injectors. He said there must have been a mistake and they thought I had meant "manifold"? I mean "really?". I was fuming. I said "so she basically lied so I would send the money?" He assured that it was a misunderstanding. Finally when I got the engine , it had bent and crimped fuel lines, cracks in the oil pan which turned the ignition spits oil. Complete disaster this whole experience. I will be seeking legal council

We are deeply sorry to hear about your negative experience with our company.

We are deeply sorry to hear about your negative experience with our company. We always strive to be truthful in our dealings, but we understand that sometimes the truth may not be enough for everyone. Rest assured, we do not sell drop-in remanufactured motors and I have never even heard of anyone doing so. Drop in engines include everything from the gas pedal to the exhaust, including the computer and transmission. We sell complete reman motors.

There were several factors that contributed to the delay in delivering your remanufactured engine. First of all, it was not a used motor as those typically run for 7 to 10 days. Our remans take longer as they go through a 15 to 18-day process at the machine shop before being shipped out. Additionally, we go above and beyond by adding valve cover gaskets and intake and exhaust manifold gaskets to our remans, this is what makes them complete. We do not attach the manifolds before shipping to prevent any damage during transport. We also had to search for a good used (core) motor, which took 2-3 weeks as **** has not made the 99 7.3 motor in over 20 years. The first core motor we received was not rebuildable as it had flaws that could not be seen with the naked eye and had to be replaced.

It's important to note that the purchase was made on August 16, 2022, and the delivery took place on November 2, 2022. We faced significant challenges during this time, including a hurricane that caused damage to our machine shop and a delay of shipping due to a national employee shortage that delayed the shipping schedule. Despite these challenges, we worked tirelessly to deliver your engine as quickly as possible.

Unfortunately, the customer was upset about the time it was taking and decided to hire a courier service instead of waiting for our shipping company to pick up the engine in two days. We advised against this decision, but they insisted. Regrettably, the engine fell over during this transport, which resulted in damage to the fuel lines and oil pan. We filed an insurance claim, which was approved, and we are currently taking steps to rectify the situation.

We understand that this experience has left you dissatisfied with our company, and we apologize for any inconvenience that it may have caused. We remain committed to providing high-quality, reliable products and services to all of our customers.
