was contacted by this place months ago to do a photo shoot. I let **** know I was in school and my schedule does change frequently. He let me know this wont be an issue, that he will work with me. He never said or sent me information stating I wouldnt be able to cancel the day before (again my classes are not consistent and quite busy due to nursing school). All this information was given to him and he said it was fine. After trying to reschedule for months I realized **** was ignoring my phone calls so I called from a different number where I finally reached him. Marks unprofessionalism was very telling especially when he hung up the phone on me. Since then this company has not refunded my money and continues to ignore my calls. Im making this post to warn people about this scamming company, I also will be making a video soon on all platforms warning everyone about this place as well. I hope they get shut down soon. I am currently contacting my lawyer to bring them to small claims court, I do not believe in companies taking advantage of individuals and will do everything in my power to stop these *****.Review fromRamon R

My experience with Studio1 has been wonderful. They've really held my hand through the entire process of working with the stylist and photographers and choosing the best focus for a mature modeling career. In particular, ********, my assigned mentor, has been absolutely exceptional and essential to my success.. I sent $50.00 to book my session and saw all the bad reviews and how the scam people. Asked for a refund that I just made today and the will not refund my money. My shoot isnt until April 25th and again just make the photo shoot today. I want my money refunded please

Hello ***** - I am sorry to hear that your refund has not been posted to your account, However,we do show this was refunded earlier this month on 4/4/25, sometimes it can take a bank anywhere from 3 - 15 days to refund to your account.
Please feel free to contact our customer service department at ************** for a square copy of the receipt to be resent to you. Please have the last 4 numbers of the card used - this will assist them in locating your information more readily.

I highly recommend contacting Studio 1 in ********, ** if you are interested in starting a modeling/acting career. My experience with them from day one of my photo shoot to applying for modeling/ acting jobs have been truly pleasing. The staff took really good care of me during the photo shoot. They were professional, patient, and accommodating. They will provide you with a Modeling Guide to help you get started to land a gig. Also, you will be assigned a mentor around 30 days after your shoot to guide and help you along your journey. I was so thankful for this! ******** is my mentor, and she has helped me tremendously. She strongly suggested that I join a casting site which I did. I applied for a few jobs so far and have been contacted by one! My takeaway is- Yes, there is a cost for the portfolio if you want the pics from the photo shoot. YOU have to do the work to get signed, find jobs etc. if you are serious about the industry. Studio 1 is your foundation and will be there every step of the way. You can always reach out to the Studio / Mentor at any time. Go for it!Review fromKatherine R

This studio was suggested to me by an agent and I am very pleased with the experience. The provided the hair and make-up which was a very nice additive to the services. Staff was extremely friendly. I work in customer service so I pay very close attention to where I give my business, this place did not disappoint. They were attentive to my needs and you can tell they know what they are doing. Professionalism exceeded my expectations and I highly refer them to anyone. I am positive I will be back. The atmosphere was very welcoming as well with comfortable music and friendly vibes.
