The Orlando VA sent me to this provider for acupuncture and I cannot recommend her at all as she burned my lower back doing cupping. I ended up with a painful burn on my lower back and had to get a tetanus vaccine which caused me to have a fever for days. I told her the cupping was getting very hot and she still did it twice in the same area and then played it down that she had burned me. I have had to go to multiple VA appointments to have the burn checked and I now have a permanent scar in the area and it still hurts! She is also not sending a copy of the office notes from the 11 visits to the VA or to me except for the notes from the first visit. As a vendor of the VA, she signed an agreement to sent all the office notes to the VA and has not!

I am sorry that you were not feeling well after your 11th treatment. I wish you could come back to let me examine you. It is my objective to use my knowledge and skills to help my patients.
Typically, VA only requires the medical records for the first and last visits. However, I have faxed and mailed all your medical records (a total of 11 treatments) to VA after its requests. The VA nurse also returned my phone call and acknowledged that all your medical records were received.

The business' response was not accurate as the VA does require all medical records from every visit be sent back to them. They need to be put in my VA records and I as a patient am entitled to the records also. The provider did send in the records after being asked for them multiple times, but some do have the correct date of visit. She is not understanding that she burned me while doing cupping and now I am left with a scare for life!
