    Read the contract and when you cancel make sure its in the 30 day window or you will be charged another month. Late fees and extra charges will appear out of no where. I just paid it to be done with it and give me a reason to write this review. Again read the contract!! Where I live Star-Link better service, no hassle billing, no contract and you have high speed internet in all weather conditions.

    Cancelled with them 12/21/2023. Still receiving statements from them that we have a credit balance of $5.34. Called to see if they would refund the credit and stop sending statements. Was told that the credit was from last year, there would be a $30 processing fee to have it returned! Also, had to start receiving electronic bills at one point or pay $3 a month for paper statements! Just UNFAIR!! After reading other reviews, guess I was lucky! My business with them was in **, but I couldn't file a complaint against them in ******** because their headquarters is based in *******??

    DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! After being a customer of theirs for more than 7 years, with an excellent payment history, they have really taken advantage of us. Their contract does include a 30 day cancellation requirement, and if you don't provide 30 days' notice, they will charge you for a month of service that you did not use. I signed the contract 7 years ago - my fault for not remembering. But then they charged a bogus $30 "restocking fee" for the modem / router that was used for 7 years. That's unreasonable; that's just a money grab. But when all was settled, equipment removed, and the account closed, there was a balance due to us for $166. That was in June. We gave them more than a month to provide our refund, but it seemed that they were hoping we would just go away. Another money grab. So I spoke with ****** on ****, and she said she would get the refund on the way, apologizing for the delay. The refund never came. So I spoke with ******** on ****, who told me the check was in the mail, but there was a hurricane in her area, so it might be delayed. WHAT??? Really? No, the check was NOT in the mail. The refund never came. So I spoke with ******* on ****, who confirmed that they owe us $166, and that the check was in the mail. Again. This is not fair; this is despicable. We are a retired couple on a fixed income. Shame on this rotten company for treating people this way. I see on this site that they have a 1 star average rating out of 9 reviews. This is not surprising to us. They are dishonest. They have taken excess payment from us, and refused to refund it. The word for what they have done is..... embezzlement. And that is a crime. When you have to take legal action to get back what is rightfully yours, you know you are dealing with a company that is beyond disreputable. They are thieves. In the end, I will cost them much more than $166; they will pay my court costs, pay us what they owe, and ridiculous attorney fees. AVOID TWN.

After review of your account, TWN has acted in compliance with our set forth terms and conditions. When you spoke with our customer service department you were advised that all refunds may take 6-8 weeks to process. We do apologize that yours was slightly beyond the 8 week ***** as we were impacted by hurricane Idallia and our corporate office was closed.

    The refund was mailed out upon our office re-opening. Alternatively, if you wish to further discuss the matter we ask that you please contact us at **************. We appreciate your business and would like to do all we can to resolve any issues.

    Service goes down every day around noon they lie and say it's this or that my sister lost her job because they refuse to offer a stable product.

    HORRIBLE COMPANY they have charged me an additional 30 in late fees on a bill I paid with ONLINE BANKING....I called my BANK,,,,they gave me the phone number of the **** to speak to a customer agent....HE gave me the IMPRESSION that TWN was a scamming company............ I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS with them AGAIN.....I am sure I cannot get anything back financially from them.....DO NOT DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS with this COMPANY...WARNING TO ALL.
