    Tampa Bay friends with generators, think twice before using GenerX Generators for service. We pay for yearly maintenance, and our unit was serviced a week before Hurricane Milton. When our power went out, the generator's fan belt shredded because it had never been replaced! After paying hundreds for an emergency call, they never showed up. Multiple calls led to no response, and the mailbox was full. We drove to their office for a replacement and were told none were available. Emergency service weeks after the fact isn't acceptable.

    As a company that services approximately 25,000 generators each year, we are currently managing a significant number of service requests related to extend run times caused by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Parts resources have been under considerable stress during this time, and we are working quickly to replenish our inventory and improve our response capabilities.

    This company is hands down the best company I've ever dealt with! I had a whole house generator installed with this company, and they respond to your questions whether it's in the evening or even on the weekend! The entire process of installing the generator went very smoothly, with no issues whatsoever. Everyone in the entire company that I had contact with was very professional and knew their trade! It was a real pleasure doing business with this company, and I highly recommend them!!

    We installed a 22kW generator in 7/2021 for my husband's health issue of oxygen dependance due to bilateral pulmonary emboli 6 years ago. He has an oxygen concentrator supplied by Advent Hospital Respiratory Services that's electricity powered. In the past we were able to use a portable generator during hurricane season, but as his health deteriorated, we needed a more secure and easier system to provide electricity and protect. We had our 1st maintenance visit on 8/8/22 per a separate GenerX contract we purchased. A propane leak was discovered and resulted in a loss of 40% propane. The GenerX Tech stated in the report he was filing "suspected" a leak. I contacted the local GenerX in Bunnell and was told this had to go through a #of steps before we would get direction. We received an email from a service advisor saying I had to call my gas company for service, since their guarantee for the gas part has expired 7/22/22. We did bring in a gas co. repair tech and he found the issue immediately and repaired it. We also are refilling the tank today 8/25/22. We cannot risk a loss of power. In their proposal GenerX describes they do all relating to installation, but now claim no responsibility since it the gas part expired the end of July. I have the emails and all the promises of their excellent service in their glossy promotional info. As I shared with GenerX this is not a convenience or luxury purchase. This is a major health issue to best protect my husband's health. I am so disappointed and feel deceived by their service.
