  These cameras and this company are complete trash. They have a phony "top 5 dashcams" review posted which led me to try out two of them. They were on sale for $59 each. For a little extra they would package 64gb SD cards but I elected not to. Well, first they only sent me one. I immediately emailed a complaint. They replied and called me and promised that another one was being shipped. It did show up about a week later. Still though...were they hoping I'd just be content with one even though I paid for two? Then I opened the package and saw how cheap it is. Yikes. It does go together and it does accept power using the car adaptor. Then I read the limited instructions. Turns out that it accepts only a 32gb max SD card even though they offer 64gb cards for them on the web. They don't have an internal battery...only in when your car is on...therefore all the talk about parked mode is total lies. It can't possibly power a sensor or turn on unless you have the car on. No way in earth this thing has functional ability to connect to a phone. It's pure cheap plastic and looks/feels like 99s technology. Don't waste your time money. This is a sleazy outfit pedalling garbage and going to a lot of trouble to mislead about what the product can do.

  The other complaints are almost word for word what the other complaints are, free dash cam, $5.82 for shipping, then BAMMM a charge for $89.95 for some nonsense subscription that was never even discussed, tried to get my back to reverse the charge and so far-nothing! The so called dash cam is a product, if thats what you want to call it, that I would let my 4 year old granddaughter play with until it breaks, which shouldnt be long! Sorry of an excuse since its apparently just scamming people out of money! RIDICULOUS

  I answered a survey for *** ********. I ordered the dashcam and received it in the mail. I got confirmation emails for shipping and handling. I was surprised when I got my credit card statement with a charge of $82.45. I called the number for Select Home Living. I spoke to a customer rep and she said I was past the date to cancel the membership for consumer services. I told her I never received any email. She said the information is on our website **************************. The problem is this website dies not exist. I contacted my credit card company to file a disputed charge claim. Evidently these people are operating under different names. The dash cam is a piece of trash.

  I feel the bank card let's this happen by not reversing the charge and allowing the dish cam to be returned. This has stopped me from doing any surveys online. Want me to answer a survey? Send me money first if not don't waste your time. As Richard Dawson would say Survey Says..... NO Way. #1 answer

  Pilot Automotive is a manufacturer. We do not deal with the public. We do not do surveys. We are wholesale based only. Our customers are Walmart, Auto Zone, Lowes, Home Depot etc. We do not take payments from the public. We get these calls from time to time but if you check you bank statement i am sure Pilot Automotive will not be on it.
