    I was employed by a company in ******, ******* as an at-home QA for medical transcription. In spring of 2022 we received a phone call on a Friday to say as of the following Wednesday we would be moved to vendor contract status. That was done, contracts signed, etc. They were supposed to pay weekly though the pay schedule was about a month behind the actual work dates. For all invoices from December of 2022 I did not receive payment. I asked about this on every invoice sent from that point on, always promised payment at some point. On July 18 of this year, I received a phone call that the contract was terminated as of that day. I was told it had nothing to do with me, they were just eventually eliminating all vendor QA. I turned in all invoices as well as including the outstanding amount from December. I asked specifically about that and was told I would be getting paid. I received the next couple of checks, but I have received nothing since AUGUST 4 of this year. To many, that does not seem like much, but to me it is A LOT! I have e-mailed nearly every week asking about an update on when I would receive the remainder, or even have payments resumed. I get ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE. These e-mails have usually gone out t 4 or more people each time... the owner/CEO (*******************), the person who was my supervisor, the accounts payable department, and human resources. I live in ******** so can't just drive over to see if there is even a physical office there. I also know of others who have had the same issues with this company.
