    They refused to give me my refund. They keep saying they need more information. So when asked I send them the information per their request and yet I still have not received my refund. AON is a **** and a ********** company. They deserve to be sued and prosecuted and put out of business.

    My name is .... I have been in the travel related industry for over 35 years and I have never experienced the horrible lack of professionalism demonstrated by both Aon and Celebrity. My husband and I purchased a cruise through Celebrity and purchased the AON travel plan with Cruise Care in January 2023 . We booked the cruise and the insurance after consulting with my doctor. I had a retinal detachment that had completely healed and cleared for travel by the doctor. On March 13, 2023, I experienced a detachment which was 61 days prior to the May 13th departure. I notified our travel agent on the 13th and we filed a claim on the 22nd. Even though the doctor submitted paperwork stating that this was a new injury and unrelated to the earlier procedure, AON denied the claim based on a preexisting condition. Under Cruise Care, we are entitled to 90% of all cruise fairs. After several months and multiple phone calls (17), we were told by Mason on 6/16 and Nathaniel 6/29 that we were due the 90% and would process the credit (Both are with Aon). When we checked with AON 8/1 looking for the credit, an extremely unprofessional and rude representative (claimed to be a supervisor) said the claim was in fact denied, Mason & Nathaniel are both wrong and we were only eligible for 75%. 75% is the same coverage without purchasing AON's policy. When the rep was asked for her name, she hung up. The language is clear in the policy, the Celebrity Cruise website and according to two AON representatives. According to the doctor's submitted paperwork and our interpretation of the policy, we should be eligible for a full refund. If not, we should be eligible for the 90% covered by Cruise Care. At this point, I'm not certain if the problem is fraud/misrepresentation, poor training, lack of english skills or the insurance product , AON and/or Celebrity just suck.     I cancel a cruise with NCL January 3nd 2023 and took a Insurance politely with them through AON insurance when I sigh up for the Cruise. It is now 5 months later and still have not received my money back.

    This seems more than a scam. When traveling on cruise you are offered insurance in the event of any Unfortunate circumstances. I purchase medical insurance for a cruise on Norwegian for August 5 of 2022 . The reason I believe this is a scam is because I received a letter from Norwegian letting me know that if I do indeed get denied by AON to provide them with the denial letter so that they can move forward and help with reimbursement( already finally confirming that this is whats going to happen) . Ticket purchases were done two days prior to embarkation total of $2503.40. I am supposed to receive a full return , I have been waiting for 1 month and a 1/2 . I provided all needed documentation and I was advised that I should have an answer within 4 to 5 weeks. My claim has not yet been assigned to anyone. Norwegian cruise line has definitely let me down partnering with this company AON. This was definitely not my expectation.
