I am rejecting this response because:
the photo taken on Dec 29 2023 clearly shows the Orange Peel issue with the paint. The recent accident from carmax is the reason I brought my car to a body shop which they pointed out to me the door issue. If they missed such an apparent issue like the orange peel, it makes me question what else they missed. They are not a random dealership- they are Land Rover and should be held at a higher standard. Please look at the photo and any body shop mechanician would see it, let alone a Land Rover service mechanician. Did they actually miss it, or did they try to hide it?
They told me they would fix the door but I asked if they could fix the rims as a courtesy, or at the very least if they could provide a loaners (while they have my car) and they said no. The issue is I paid $80k for a car that I wouldve paid $3-4k less if I knew about the paint at the time. I could ***** it up to not noticing it when I bought the car and blame myself.. but shouldnt there be regulatory bodies for businesses taking advantage of people? Or at least accountability on behalf of the business?

    Sincerely,

********* Ryed the problem, claiming it was merely cosmetic and did not impact the vehicle's mechanics! This response is unacceptable, especially from a dealership representing a luxury ******* feel intentionally misled and deceived. The dealership either knowingly sold me a vehicle with undisclosed damage or was grossly negligent in their certified inspection. This lack of transparency and disclosure constitutes false pretense and I believe consumer fraud. Had this defect been properly disclosed, the car would've been sold at a significantly lower price ~$4K less, or I wouldn't have purchased it at all. Instead, trusting the *** label & the dealership's integrity, I paid a premium for a compromised vehicle.Any professional body shop examining my photos would easily confirm the non-OEM paint job, particularly evident in direct sunlight where the "Orange Peel" and wavy look shows. see video link where you can see the date of the screenshot on dec 29 2023: **************************

As per our Certified Pre-Owned (***) program, the certification process is focused primarily on ensuring that all mechanical aspects of the vehicle are thoroughly inspected and meet Land Rovers high standards. Given that the purchase is from December 2023, it is possible that any issues with the doors paint, if they were present at that time, were not immediately evident or were outside the scope of the mechanical certification process. Furthermore, after ownership and the recent accident reported on the Carfax report, additional factors may have contributed to or exacerbated the conditions described. Based on our records and the information available to us, the vehicle was inspected and certified in accordance with the standards of the *** program at the time of purchase. Any cosmetic concerns regarding the door at that time would have been addressed before the sale of the vehicle. Out of good faith I have offered for Ms. ***** to bring the vehicle in, and we would send her car to have the door re-painted,but Ms. ***** declined.

Land Rover South Dade has extended in good faith to have the door painted for Ms ****** she can drop her vehicle off to us and we will take care of sending it to our certified body.
