    If I could leave no stars I would! I have been living in my new home in Delray Beach, FL since November 2024. My first bill was over $2700. After many hours of phone calls the only thing I have been able to accomplish is a reduction to $400. I use gas for my gas stove, my instant hot water heater and my jacuzzi. I have not been given a credit on a real reading. Only on estimates. I have provided photos of my gas meter and I have called dozens of times. Customer service has never followed up. I have also written and mailed a letter over two weeks ago and all that has been accomplished is a return letter stating that I will be have me gas turned off soon.

    I received a final bill from FPU for over $300 and called to ask why the amount was so much. I have always paid my bill on time and it rarely was over $50. I did not receive a call back and I sent an email as well. No point of contact has been made and now the bill is in collections, which is very stressful. I am still hoping for an explanation of the large sum from this company that has failed to provide one. Seems like a scam, all things considered.

    You wait on hold for hours just to be hung up on. Then do it again in hopes someone will actually answer. They take your payment out of your bank account then never apply it to your electric bill. They do nothing to fix the issue when you present it to them. You can send all the emails you want and they will not be replied to. When you do happen to get to talk to someone and express concern about how difficult it is to get a hold of someone, they tell you there is nothing that can be done about it. We moved into the building and we tried for weeks to get a hold of someone to get power and we wound up doing it online and they took the money and never cut the power on. Our brand new business was out of power for a week because even though we turned in everything needed to start a new account they didn't accept it. When we finally got a hold of someone after a week of trying they said "oh yeah, we see all of your emails and we got the paperwork that's required, we just never got around to it." This is completely unacceptable and an unprofessional way to do business. Then to leave the people with no other alternative or solution. There has to be another way than this to run an electric business. We have to use another company in a different area where our other business is and we have been with them 40+ years and never had an experience like this with them.     A customer reports she has been unable to contact a company representative. Upon receiving this inquiry, a Quality Analyst reviewed the account and observed the following: On October 10, the customer’s account was activated. On November 30, per the customer’s request, a representative called the customer but a “mailbox is full” announcement prevented them from leaving a message. On December 1, the customer expressed her concern to a representative that her payment was withdrawn from her bank but it had not posted to her account. The representative stated she would investigate her concern and have a customer service representative call her. On December 9, a representative informed the customer that she located her payment. She apologized for the long hold times when calling the office. On January 3, the quality analyst called the customer and confirmed she was satisfied with the resolution. She thanked her for the assistance.
