We had a horrible experience with Candor Carports. Hidden billing practices, billing for work not completed, billing for things that were supposed to be free (hay and seed), damage to our property including destroying our whole front yard grass, concrete pad poured incorrectly to size and does not match our rollup door, pad cracking away on all sides and they are now putting liens on our property even though they owe us money for damage. This is nothing new for Candor and have now changed their name to ****************************. To be clear, they do not install or manufacture your building. They only do the dirt work and concrete. Both were subpar. There are over 20 people in my neighborhood with the same complaints. If you don't want to take our word for it, visit the county and ask about complaints made against them and their work.

November 22, 2023 I signed a contract with Candor Construction/ Candor Carports, ***************************** to replace my cracked concrete driveway entrance to my garage and add an additional 15 ft. By 30 ft. ** parking pad. When the work was completed and all payments made (the day of completion) I noticed the ** pad looked crooked. So I measured it and found it stared out at 14ft 11 inches and ended 14ft 2 inches ( tapered) 9 inch difference in the width from beginning to end. This was January 26th 2024 and on this day I sent a text to ****** with a picture. ****** sent a worker out on the 27th to make stress cuts and look at the issue. His response was it is what it is and cant be fixed, I told him that is not acceptable. I texted ****** and asked that her and **** (company owner) come and look at it and 10 days later they did. **** said the only way he could fix it was to cut it off straight and add the 12 inches to make it 15ft but that would look really bad. I offered a compromise of just cutting it to a less hideous ***** which **** agreed would look better, so I said what do I get for their mistake and **** said $300.00. I counter offered that he make the cut and make a 5ft by 7ft ramp/transition from my rear pathway to gate. At that time **** said ok but you do the digging. I agreed. Then I received an email stating I would also have to buy the concrete or they would cut me a check for $300.00 . I found that offensive and replied that back and stated I now only want what we agreed to on a signed legal contract and that I have paid for. The only way to make a proper repair is to tear out what they put in and replace it and if they are not willing to do this then Im done talking. I just want what was agreed to, nothing more. I have not heard back from anyone after almost 3 weeks.
