The technician was hard working and only left a few dozen spots that could still use fine tuning, whirl marks, missed corners, etc. However, I asked that beforehand that he not use my bathroom sink as a water source, because it is a custom copper sink. (Copper is soft) Instead, I offered other options and showed him the locations. The technician used the sink, and pried his watering cans underneath the faucet repeatedly. The sink is damaged. Misshapen, and was broken from the base. Water was leaking from the drain into the base cabinet, when I found it the next morning. The condo was entirely empty of all contents at the time. Virtually nothing to break but this. I have since been trying to resolve this issue with the company. At first, the owner agreed to pay for the damaged sink, but not the plumber for installation. Since his office or myself could not reach the *************** that custom made the sink 13 years ago. Then the office manager reported they were able to reach the company that made the sink. However, the owner refuses to replace the drain. The current sink came with the drain, as all sinks do. Copper comes shiny, then ages to a matched patina. Also, this is an handmade sink. They manufacture sinks for countries around the world. Not all countries use the same diameter for the drain pipe. Including and U. S. sized drain, assures it will fit. Again, we are at a stand still. Repeatedly he falls short of reimbursement or replacement of the damage in full. I was clear from the beginning that I expected to be made whole. Reimburse my out of pocket expenses as a result of their negligence. Why advertise ******************* in your ads, as a byline on every correspondence, when you do not use it? I paid them $1,800 for a job that has resulted in an unprofessional nightmare.
