    Minute Key is a rip off. They said it would cost $50 tp $80 to open a interior door lock, and the tech would be hat my place in 45 minutes. The tech did not show up until 2 hours later. Then he said $169. I said that is not what dispatch said. He the started to proceed in drilling out the lock. The he said the final cost was $252. OMG . I piad it just to get him off my property. He wanted $90 to take out the old lock, and another $150 for a new $10 lock. They wont be here again.

    To everyone... Please do not use a company called minute key locksmith out of Lakeland FL. I needed locksmith service at my job 2 weeks ago. The technician was competent and timely, but the services were obscenely over priced. I was stuck and figured I'd be reimbursed so I acquiesced.
    Everything was done over the technicians phone and I was told a receipt was forthcoming. It never came.
    I have called this place many times in this 2 week period.
    My email address is not complicated but the "customer service " agents could not get it right. It took 3 called over a 3 daynperiod to get them to read it back to me correctly but still no receipt. I was assured each time a member of the "management " staff would contact me either within the hour or by days end...nothing. And don't let them put you on hold...it goes nowhere...every single time. One agent obviously working from home answered the phone and a baby starts crying and a dog starts barking which I have no issue with but she got flustered and just hung up
    .. I have NEVER even seen a company who's customer service is this incompetent.
    All I can do is keep trying for my receipt....you have been warned....
