    When I explained that the initial adjustment of the frames were not sufficient and needed further adjustment, I was told by the adjustment person that she was afraid to do any further adjustments because she might break the frames. This is completely unacceptable and I am notifying future customers to do business with well known established companies that have licensed opticians trained to make the proper adjustments. Most privately owned stores save money by not having to hire a licensed optician. The store owner saves money at the customers expense. Once again, the customer is sent home with frames that could have easily been properly adjusted. If you would like to avoid the frustration of being told that there is nothing further they will do for you, then you should find a larger company where there is a Licensed Optician who performs the frame adjustments. I trust that you can benefit from my mistakes.

    I appreciate your feedback but let's try and tell the entire story. After spending almost an hour trying on and selecting frames and nearly almost an hour adjusting both the new frames as well as your old frames at pickup, you left satisfied per our conversation. In hindsight, my optician catered to you, asking you many times how it felt - causing everyone else to wait excessively just to make sure you were satisfied.

    You then called back days later complaining that it did not fit like the frames youve had for years before. You also told my staff that you would boycott, picket and protest my office because the frames were misaligned by less than a few millimeters on one side. I spoke to you the next day and recommended that you come in and we can discuss how to adjust the frame and if the frame still didnt fit to your liking, I would select a brand new frame for you at no cost. You never showed up.


    First of all, to imply that I am being cheap by the people I hire is absolutely ridiculous. My optician had replaced an expensive licensed optician for over 30 years and has generated 100% more positive interactions now than I ever had be before. Ive been doing this for over 20 years and she by far is one of the most competent, caring and patient-first opticians Ive ever had.
