      Disrespectful attitude towards members by staff and trainers. Non-existent customer service.

      They sold me hard on a contract and told me they would work with me to canncele you contrat if i wished... long story short they just pointed to the fine print and extraced 900 from me when i asked to cancel .... *************** is a vet.... i really expercted more from him....PLEASE LOOK UP FREEDOM BOAT CLUB CALSSACTION LAWSUITS TO GET A REAL FLAVOR OF THE COMPAN

      I'd like to make everyone aware of the terrible customer service at ********************** ********* and ask that they think twice before joining. They do not offer refunds and even when they cannot provide services promised. I joined FBC on 04/15/23 and paid a membership fee of $4,546.43. A boat safety course and water training session is required prior to reserving a boat. I completed my boat safety course on 04/24, but I had to wait 17 days for for my water session, 05/11. My contact was Captain ****** She has zero customer service skills. After my water session, Captain ***** said I did good and asked how I felt. I told him I'd feel better if I had another session. He asked me to contact Captain ***** again to schedule another 2 hour session. Captain ***** was extremely rude and said she had no openings until 05/26, 15 days later. Mind you, I paid over $4,500 and FBC began charging the monthly fee of $329 on 05/01. On 05/26, they called an hour before my session to say they were canceling due to weather. I spoke with Captain ***** who was rude again and she said I had to wait another 13 days for the next opening, 06/08. I told her I was out of town and would appreciate something sooner. Her attitude was too bad, it's all we have and if I couldn't make 06/08 I'd have to wait until 06/13. I told her that was unacceptable. I contacted FBC headquarters and spoke with a Captain ******************** He said the last minute cancelation was unacceptable and added "why would they cancel? The weather is beautiful." I also contacted FBC on ******* for assistance in canceling my membership. I canceled my membership and received an email confirmation on 06/01. Since then, they have charged my credit card the monthly $329 twice. Last charge was as recently as 06/21. I am very disappointed in the level of customer service. It was a terrible experience and extremely disappointing. FBC corporate was extremely helpful and apologized when I contacted them. Stay away from this franchise. Buyer beware.
