I signed a contract to remodel a small three-bedroom house in the ***** area of ************. I was told that the owner and a capable crew would get started and the project would take a maximum of 60 days. The owner assured me this would be plenty of time to complete this job. I put down my deposit. He showed up the following day with some guys he claimed were his workers, got them started and disappeared. The "crew" told me they had only done minimal work and none of them seemed capable to handle the tasks on the job. The owner reassured me over the next couple weeks that they knew what they were doing, but they did not! He would drop these incompetent thugs off each morning and leave them there to tackle projects they were unable to complete. After complaining about the sub-par work, he would bring in other guys who looked like drug addicts and people he picked up off the street. Each new group was worse than the last. He had a lot of trouble with the sub-contractors and I had to manage and babysit everything going on, step-by-step. I had to take over, moving things along, but at a snails pace. The owner kept asking for more money. After having a run-in with the last guy he put on the job sight my stress level was through the roof and he had no answers about this POS he brought then totally disappeared. I finally had to get some help from a family member to finish the job and handle all the inspections. I cannot express how stressful this was for 18 months. I felt such relief when the inspections were finally passed and I could be finished with this incompetent contractor. He has no idea how to manage a company. I warn anyone who even considers hiring himDONT. I would not hire him to build a birdhouse or doghouse even if he offered to do it for free. He claims to be a ********** but he will lie straight to your face time and time again. If there was a grade lower than F, thats what I would give him. DO NOT ever use this company-- find someone else to hire.
