  BUYERS BEWARE! This company has a bad rating for a reason. They do NOT return calls, they take measurements and DO NOT give you estimates. They show up professional until you get your order and then BAM - they ignore you. Their mailbox is always full. The office team has a horrible bedside manner. THere is NOTHING kind or nice I say about dealing with this company. They over promise, under deliver, don't show up when they make appointments, and installed faulty products with the promise they would remedy the solution - and they don't call you back. DO NOT USE this company, you'll regret the experience.

  Is there a rating that's less than 1 Star? I live in the Englewood area. Not exactly close to Fort Myers. That didn't stop the salesperson, ***, from convincing my husband and myself that Storm Shield SWFL was the company for us when shopping for hurricane windows. Now that I need them can I get someone to come out? No. I have 3 windows that allowed water to come in at the base of them during the hurricane. Asked for someone to inspect the integrity of those windows beginning October 25th. Still hasn't happened. I'm on a list. Followed up on November 2nd. On a list. Still hasn't happened. It's now December 5th. I reach out again. Different need. I have a casement windows with a broken hinge. No guarantee that someone can come fix this urgent need. They can put us on a list. The security of my home is now compromised but that doesn't seem to matter. No self-respecting business would find this acceptable. Horrible, horrible experience. My advice to anyone reading this...STAY AWAY FROM STORM SHIELD! Stay far, far away.

  Unfortunately this business has seen better times. In 2017 we had 9 impact windows installed for $11,000. The job went well & the product was as described. Move forward to 2021. We went under contract 10/2021 for 3 high impact glass sliders for $16,700. On 8/1/2022 they were finally installed. Understand that COVID was in the mix along with all the other excuses we were given. Wish I could say installation and follow up went well. The installers were inexperienced and worked at a speed that was frightening. Results: broken floor tile - damaged drywall etc. The installer wrote up a work order for post install damage. Maybe they could right the wrongs. Fortunately we passed inspection and then came the follow up calls to get the damage repaired. Contacting customer service was a nightmare. The service manage Rocco did what he could at the time - but the ball was dropped at his end. Unfortunately for us one of the slider panes has debris, caulking & scratches between the panes. Rocco has been sent emails repeatedly and no response. Compared to others, I guess we should count our blessings. Hopefully they can get their act together and save what was once a good company!

  we have had no contact from this company since we signed contract on Feb. 21, 2022. We have reached out to them several times and have gotten no answers. Visited the home office, it was closed due to illness. We don't know where to turn to. Wehave tried to contact the salesperson and get no response from him either.

  Our salesman (Vince) was extremely thorough in his explanation of how the windows are constructed. Though we were under a time constraint that day to get to ******* ****** ****** for my husband's treatment we decided to take the few extra minutes to let him complete his presentation and ultimately ordered 10 windows. The windows were manufactured and ready for install months before we had expected! We did, due to my husband's treatment have a hiccup. Mark was in our drive, ready to install, when we received some disconcerting news. No problem, he said. That was a month ago. I thank Keith, Mark and Mark's helper Rob for their amazingly easy install today. Mark and Rob arrived early, early am and stayed late getting all 10 done. Inspection will be done by the county in a day or two. I inspected, my husband inspected, our contractor inspected....I expect a full pass from the county. I highly recommend Storm Shield! It's very difficult to find people in Florida that care about the quality of their product and work.

  They will convince you to buy their BAD products. Ernie T******* sold us these windows and doors and told us he will be there along the process. NOW he will not answer my calls or texts. Sean R*****, the head of the company, the only other person responsible for the installation done in my house in Willoughby Acres in Naples, is very unprofessional and also does not answer the phone or emails. I AM LEFT IN THE DARK FOR MONTHS. Installation was done several months ago and they installed the wrong front door, the wrong hardware, the frames were all scratched and busted, one window was chipped and broken, the sliding glass doors are mismatching in color, some screens for the doors were missing. Also the windows are so hard to open! Overall I am very dissatisfied with the finish product and they will not take my call. I DONT EVEN KNOW IF FINAL INSPECTION HAS PASSED! Does that mean it hasn't passed? Can anyone help? My family wants to get an attorney, any recommendations? This company, Storm Shields of Florida, in my opinion, is horrible, dishonest and corrupt. I will leave the reader with this; I called the installation manager, Brandon, after waiting for a call back for months, and apparently he doesn't work there anymore and had a lot of bad things to say about this company.   Ordered and gave down payment for 7 large windows 20 months ago. It took 18 months to get the and one of them was to large to fit the location. The installed what was supposed to be smaller temporary window with plywood filler 3 days later but left the previous window area open to a hole with a 20 foot drop and possible rain sage for 24 hours. They told me they ordered the correct size that day. I spoke with a customer service representative 4 months later and was told he would look into it and get back to me in a few days. That still has not happened. I have called 10 times and never had the phone answered since then. I still don't have the correct window and no offer as to resolution.
