    They take money off your card and credit it back to another account just pure scammers with a business

    I booked 2 rooms for me and my friend for February 6th.We checked in around 1 am, we needed the rooms just to sleep.it was a cold night and the ** was not blowing hot air. I called front desk and was told the ** in ******* blow only cold air. I live in *******, and it is not true. My friend in her room had the ** blowing hot air. No coffee pot in the coffee maker. Upon check out I placed my complaints and front desk said they were giving heater for people like us, why were not given us one, she did not know. She also said they no longer offered coffee in the room, the coffee maker shouldn't be in the room. Then for some reason she charged my credit card with &113.She said it was deposit and the money should be refunded. More than a month the money is not put back into my account. I called many times looking for a manager and was told that they did not have a manager every day , they put me on hold several times for more that 15 minutes, and even when I somebody answered the phone ,she was not nice.Fimally,10 days ago, somebody from the front desk looked up at my folio and said my money will be refunded ,just to give a few days. As of this moment, nothing is refunded. I guess the $13 are for parking, I would not mind paying for parking, although with my terrible experience with this hotel, I have shouldn't be charged for anything. They mentioned some service fee, which was supposed to include the front desk and I do not know what else, we checked in at 1 am and checked out around 10 am, the building was very dirty and not nice looking, everything outside looked unattracted the rooms were clean though. I do not believe I should pay that fee ,we just slept in the rooms and over all our experience was not nice at all. I am still waiting for my deposit.

    Where to start, well the first night there (Thursday February 16th), the main elevator is broken, so you have to use the elevator outside at the back of the hotel to avoid carrying your luggage up 5 flights of stairs (we were in room 512). Of course we get to our room and you can feel literally every spring on the king mattress(I've slept on better mattresses during my deployment's to Afghanistan), and of course the shower head barely worked. Moving on, the next night (Friday February 17th), we found out that the hotel had a night club attached to the hotel, we had to wait for a parking spot since the people going to the night club were taking up hotel parking spots. Had to wait to have our room key reset, while the front desk clerk was too busy entertaining herself telling the women walking out the club that they were so sexy. On the 3rd night (Saturday the 18th) the club had an outdoor event by the pool, the music was so loud that we could feel our room shake from the bass of the speakers & hear every word of the song playing. Even after taking 2 Ambien, my wife wasn't able to tune out the music to sleep. Thankfully I have family who live nearby in north Lauderdale, we checked out of the hotel at 8 pm while complaining to the front desk clerks, one was the same woman from the previous night, (as well as complaining to booking.com over the phone) who advised us that we should have checked out at 11 am, to which I responded to them "if we knew this was a regular occurrence at this hotel, not only would we have left earlier, we would have never booked this hotel to begin with". Truly the worst hotel and staff I've ever encountered. I rate this hotel "0"stars. After leaving a similar review on their Facebook page, The Fort Lauderdale Grand Hotel blocked me.

    They are con artists at this hotel, especially ******** the manager!!! I has a reservation booked for February 6-8,2023. I never got a chance to sleep there for those nights at all and they never refunded me my money back!!!!! Priceline contacted them numerous times to get my refund that Grand Hotel told me they were gonna give me free cancellation due to me not staying, they never answered until February 10th!!! When they did answered, ******* lied on Priceline policy not knowing Priceline was on the line and they defended themselves saying Grand Hotel is lying!!!!
