    - I never had a walk through before build as they promised, and when I did finally get one, the rebar was already laid. I asked for a porch that stretched from one end of my house to the other several times, but they built it was a foot short on one side, resulting in $4k upcharge to fix and $700 upcharge for fence - I asked for 5 inch heavy gutter, paid $3k for it and 3 months went by and i had to call several times to asked where/when it was going to be installed. Turned out he forgot about it but cashed the check and prices went up so only got a standard but I could pay more (again)- The pool was not maintained after they filled it with water and the pool finished developed several slotches and when asking about it they said it's normal, or if i wanted to fix it they could drain it and scrub it with peroxide and refill for about $7k. Their response was "but i dont think it looks too bad so I wouldnt worry about it."- Arguably the worst part was they built the auto drain an a hole at the side of our house by the foundation and does not drain because there is no incline. when asking their project manager why they put it here he stated Azure assumes clients dont want to look at it in an obvious place so they hide it out of site for cosmetics, not function. I asked for 4 months for help with this and when i finally got a response they said its no longer under warranty and told me I had to dig a trench myself to fix it or hire a landscape company.- Since the build i have had to fix a broken seal for $200, the salt cell went out in less than a year from when it was filled for $1300

********** were sorry to hear that you feel this way regarding our company. We try to exceed clients expectations on all projects. We are only able to control factors that are managed within our team. I understand your frustration, and I want to make sure that when people read your review, they realize there are two sides to every story.

We apologize regarding the issue with the gutter. Admittedly, this was something that slipped through the cracks on your project.

Your project began during the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, which, unfortunately, for everyone in our industry caused a surge in the cost of all building materials. This factor affected everybody in the construction industry as well as many other industries. We brought the issue of the difference in cost to your attention, we gave you the option to opt out of the pool with a refund or we could proceed at the project at the increased cost. This is something that many companies needed to adopt to avoid being unable to complete projects.

The pool deck was something that you reviewed and approved both via the contract and signed off on via the site plan. When you realized that it was different than you expected, we sent you a changed order which you then approved. We make sure clients sign off and review all paperwork prior to commencing construction.

Your pool was maintained for the complete entirety of the start up phase. This is verified by both the logs of the water chemistry during the visits as well as the *** tracker on the technicians truck that was visiting the jobsite. Both the field team and ownership reviewed the splotches you reported on your pool surface, and everything looked the way it should for a newly plastered surface. What you noticed/described on your finish is normal and not considered a defect of workmanship or an issue with the material. Our office office never presented you with a $7000 repair and Im not sure where you got a figure like that. The price of the service youre describing in our industry is only about $1100.

I know on your project specifically, there were issues regarding the final grade that was completed by your communities landscapers which ultimately ended up preventing the pools overflow from operating as designed. Our team, including the owner, made several sit visits to your pool, which confirmed that the landscaping which was installed after we were finished, was raised above the overflow pipe which was preventing was from being able to drain as it should. In addition the downspouts from the gutters continue to flood the area between the homes. We recommended to you to install a French drain system as this would be the only way to alleviate the issues caused by your landscapers. We said it would be the best option for them to fix the problem they had created. Should you decide to take the issue up with your landscaper you will find the overflow will work as designed.

As for the seal and the salt cell, our office was never notified, so we couldnt report a warranty call to the manufacturer which would have had the repair or replacement covered under warranty at no expense to you.

We are always continuing to improve the way we build projects. Landscaping is something that we have more recently taken under our wing to try and alleviate the issues that hiring inexpensive landscapers end up, causing for the homeowners after we leave their yard.
