  It was the worst company I have ever had to deal with. I finally as of 2/6/25 sent my final check after 2.5 years of dealing with them to put on my roof. They had the permit and tile in the yard from September of 2023. Multiple excuses why they couldn't come and install the roof. Finally after 7 months of complaining they installed the roof. There was a mistake that needed to be corrected that took another 7 months to repair. Be careful they will ghost on you and no return phone calls. Not even the owner. Not sure how BBB gives them an A- rating

  The quality of the work seem fine, but Double G Construction replaced my roof in anticipation of a home sale. The concrete tile roof was completed two week prior to the sale of the home. ***** **********, the sales person clearly indicated the warranty was transferable. However, thirty days after closing there were a few tiles that needed to be adjusted and they refused to come out claiming the warranty was not transferable. The contract does confirm the warranty was not transferable but that is not what what was communicated in the sales process. Buyer beware - Read your contract and don't rely on their sales people!

  I saw this company building a porch for the neighbors on a property I took over management of. I asked them if they would be willing to take on another job we needed ours rebuilt. They sent over the estimate. We agreed on the job being done by this company. They did not complete the work we had agreed on (also did not remove the trash as stated on the estimate). When building the front porch, they used nails instead of screws. All of the nails have began to pop already. We also found out they never got a permit to do the job that is required. We contacted them and let them know we need them to go and get a permit for the work they completed and they need to also make the needed repairs with their work since it was flagged by the code Inspector as unsafe. One step was too high, and replace all the nails with screws. They are saying they will not get a permit and we have to sue them in court. STAY AWAY. If they make this right I will update this review. As of now they are doing illegal work.

  This company deserves a zero but unfortunately I must leave one star to leave a review . Run away from this company asap!. New roof leaks within a year! Outrageous hidden costs! **************** awful! Too many complaints to list. Buyer beware!!!. Save yourself from hiring a lawyer and go with a different company.!.

  I am only putting one star system this does not allow me to finish the revie without any. This company deserves 0. Dealing with Double G Construction has been the worst business experience I have ever had. I had initially hired them to file a roof claim. The lawyers that they used were terrible. Three years later once my claim was settled, the company is now holding the $53, 000 insurance proceeds and have yet to replace the roof. There is no rush or motivation to do anything. They do not care since they have the funds. There is no communication with them. You cannot get them to respond to your emails or return calls. I have asked to speak to a manager, the owner , supervisor and no one is available. When you call their office, it actually sends you to a voice mail . NOONE EVER PICKS UP. I tried to break my contract and they are asking me for 35,000.00 plus for a cancellation fee. The city wants to charge me liens for not removing to tarp that I have had on the roof for 3 years. They are claiming a shortage of materials and labor and insisting that it takes 24 weeks to replace a roof. I am sure they would not wait 24 weeks to get paid. My roof continues to be damaged and the same company that I hired refuses to preserve the property and tells me to find a third party to deal with this ongoing issue while they sit on the job and hold on to my insurance proceeds.

  This is a very crooked company. Beware in dealing with them. They misrepresented my case and claim I had solar panels when I didnt which made me loose my claim. Once I settled in litigation they made me pay $8600 to cancel my contract. I am still waiting for my half of the payment set by the courts and my case settled in August. Nobody answers my calls or returns any response to me. If anyone can help me please let me know

  My wife and I hired Double g construction to replace our roof, while replacing the roof the destroyed our pool equipment. When asked to have the pool equipment repaired, their employees denied damaging the equipment. We have before and after video of the equipment while Double g was on the premises. We tried our best to communicate with them, they refused to pay for the damages. In which cost us nearly $5000. To replace the pool equipment that they damaged. Please help us get some justice from the double g construction. Thank you

  I wish I could give no stars. Anyone who wrote a positive review here, I am convinced its fake. These people either work for the most disorganized business or it's all a ****. While my neighbors get product and service and communication from their roofers, I have had to deal with horrible communication, out right lies, delay after delay. It's been over 2 years waiting for this roof, 9 months since the insurance company settled. Worst thing is I cannot get HOI until my roof is completed. Now I'm in hurricane season with no coverage except for forced placed coverage since no one, even Citizens won't insure. This is an expense I cannot afford. At this point I just want out. I don't want to deal with these lying incompetent *****. I've asked to speak with the owner, crickets. Maybe he's too busy answering his summons for racketeering in the State of Minnesota for his sister companies ***** *** * ******* ************. Buyer's Beware.

  The process is non communicative you have to fight to get call backs then they disappear and never follow up. Its been the worst experience I have ever dealt with. They have my $48,000 insurance check so there is no motivation to do whats right. All you hear is excuses so Im having to lower myself to this level to maybe get their attention. I guess the call to the attorney is next. Such a waste of people times. This will be a company I would say is turn the other way and run!!********************* ********

  Phenomenal experience, they got me a new roof after *** and I couldnt be happier, the only out of pocket was my deductible and thats exactly what the project manager (*******) told me Id pay! I recommend judging this book by the person helping you thru the process and not its cover (old reviews) thanks again ******* for holding my wife and Is hand thru everything!
