  I hired Apex Arbor Care to trim and remove a tree from my property. The trimming of the trees was done to my satisfaction. The removal of a dead palm tree in my yard was also done to satisfaction. The issue I have with Apex is that when they went to remove the stump I informed them that I have lights attached to wires in the ground surrounding the stump. I made it very clear to the operators. They proceeded to remove the stump and informed me the job was complete. When I asked if they remove the debris,I was informed they do not. Not an issue, I figured I could use it as fertilizer. As I looked down in the hole where the stump stood, I clearly could notice that the wires I informed them about had been cut. The operators knew they had been cut and looked at me dumbfounded when I brought it to their attention. My initial reaction was not a happy one. I told them to be careful but I also realize accidents happen. I let them know exactly that, accidents happen. I also informed them to call the owner of Apex Arbor Care, Don Meade and let him know what had occurred while removing the stump. I called Don later on that day and he didn’t answer. I tried 3 more times and no answer. I then wrote him 3 texts throughout the weekend and once again nothing. My final text stated that I could never refer him or his company because of his lack of professionalism. I told him that I assume the repairing of the lights shouldn’t break the bank but it’s the principle, which he obviously lacks! They state they are licensed and insured but I have to question that. I learned a valuable lesson, never pay until the job is complete and satisfactory. I had paid for the job prior to having the stump removed earlier that week. Don was eager for my business as he came to my door selling his product. It truly bothers me knowing there are so many wolves out there in sheep's clothing. I hope that this review is helpful for someone in the near future. Caveat Emptor(Buyer Be Ware)

  Never picked up the debris they cut down . Just left it in the yard. Darrell ****** is a liar. Don **** , the alledged owner who cashed the checks , is a thief. Total Scammers.

  Please do not use this company. They came through our neighborhood soliciting business. Our neighbor hired them to take down one tree in their backyard. It took the crew two days to remove the tree. They piled the branches, trunk pieces and other debris on not only our neighbor's yard, but our lawn as well, leaving damage to our neighbor's new sod and two large holes in our lawn. Their crew left the site leaving cartons, water bottles, pizza boxes, wrappers and other debris all over our lawns. We took photographs and notified the company. The sales person came out and took pictures of the damage and the debris and picked up some of the debris. We also took out a large garbage bag of water bottles and other trash that the crew cleaned out of their cars. It had been dumped into a can that had construction materials in it which were waiting to be picked up for disposal. During the removal of the tree, our neighbor's fence was damaged. The company told him they would be back the next day to repair it for him. As of the current date, they have not been back and the fence has not been repaired.
