Like many others, I wish I could give negative stars. I spent 2 and a half days imprisoned in their ********** location - put there against my will by my abusive ex-husband who paid $8000 up front to have me put away for a week at a time (with a planned 30-day stay for $32,000). I was forced to leave *** (against medical advice) without my medications on a Sunday afternoon. Fortunately for me I knew the city of ******* all and was able to find respite from the abuse the day I walked out (all the other prisoners were from far away with no resources locally - a common feature of these abusive "treatment" facilities). We Level Up is **********, abusive, incompetent, and incredibly harmful. It is not safe for residents nor staff. The staff are under qualified and poorly trained. The salespeople in the ******* headquarters know nothing about what actually happens in the facilities. They ignore complaints and deny responsibility. I've been out for just over a week and I'm still reeling from the abuse. I am 100% safer in my community than locked up against my will with other struggling souls. As I heal I hope to share my story more widely. I'd love to join others in bringing a lawsuit if that is at all possible.Places like this need to be held accountable and shut down.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Worst experience of my entire life. I am truly traumatized from this "business" and had to leave ***. Now they are calling and hounding me about owing a balance when a supervisor in the finance department called me BEFORE I left, and confirmed that my insurance covered the stay completely. I was then assured by ******** ("therapist" at ********** facility) that I would not owe a dime because she had looked at the insurance report that was run on my policy, said she was very familiar with the plan, and that it clearly states that there is no deductible or copay on mental health or substance abuse inpatient facilities. I also continued to refuse to sign the financial document they kept shoving in front of my face once they had me in and w/o access to a phone to take a screenshot. The e-form showed I would owe $16,000. They would try to catch me first thing in the morning or when I was clearly exhausted or stressed. I refused to sign until they finally removed it from the electronic form. I am actually a licensed Florida Blue agent working for a dedicated ******************* and I am also very familiar with my plan. I even had my supervisor/lead agent confirm that there was no charge for inpatient care to make certain that I was right, before we ever even bought the plane ticket. I am already broke from all the things I had to buy to be prepared to go there (turns out that was wrong as well) and for them to suggest that I owe them anything is ludicrous! I have pages of notes that I made about my experience with this AWFUL company but I don't have the time or the emotional capacity to post because they changed all of my psychotropic medications and destroyed a lot of my medication completely. Thus, I have been out of the correct medication since I have been waiting for an appointment for a month now with a PsyMD. This is a place for junkies and really ******** addicts living on the streets. This place would indeed be a "level up" from there.

There’s not a zero star or I’d make sure they were given one. I went across country because the used car salesperson sold me a bill of goods, and I bought right in.I didn’t have the money even if they added “mental health “ to their “substance abuse” program for insurance purposes. I wanted my son to join later, was concerned about the money, but was told “insurance baby”. There were so many issues I could write a book, and I might. The assurance of my computer work wasn’t followed to say the least which lead to poison at work. Keep in mind, everything is taped or recorded, recorded I can’t guarantee. When my fentanyl addict son didn’t come with excitement, I discussed heading home with a calm tone. I was told I wouldn’t get my stuff for 72 hours by top staff. My computer and phone are my family’s well being. I said “that’s illegal, I wonder how the police would handle situation”. She laughed heartily and dared me due to cold and rain plus said “not my first rodeo”. I said “watch this, not mine either” and walked out. An hour plus cold and shivering, I did get the police there. They mentioned the 48 hours, not 72 from head staff, but listened. The Officer went to car, talked to someone, told me to wait, and took off 50 yards. He called me and said once they added mental health to substance abuse insurance would cover; they’ve had over 50 people call for exact reasons in months. He told the people there he would arrest all of them if they didn’t give me my stuff. I was ready for the street with lost wallet and all meds tossed upon arrival before diagnosis. At 55, I have a bad back. I ended up in emergency room and at Denny’s for what felt like ages. A day later, I ended up at phase two, being as horrifying at stage one. They told me and family nothing about where I was going. It was the worst of my days being at “Level Up”. Be on the lookout for my book. John F

This company is a scam. I went in with insurance and they're trying to hit me with a $31,000 bill. They were not up front about their fees. I was there for 7 days!!! $31,000, ridiculous. The services and assistance they offer are not worth $4500 a day. Its unreal what they're trying to get away with. I'm still trying to fight the bill, absolutely no transparency as they claim.

We apologize for any inconvenience and wish you had reached out to us sooner so we can conduct an internal investigation and address the concerns properly.  According to the preliminary review, the additional bill that was invoiced came from the outstanding patient responsibility based on insurance adjustment of the patient's plan. Our services and accommodations are as advertised and explained on the front end.  We are sorry that you feel that you did not receive everything you are looking for.  Upon completion of the investigation, someone from our Quality Control Team will be reaching out to the patient to address any outstanding concerns.

I wouldnt even give this business a 1-star review. My boyfriend called about depression and anxiety treatment for me. I went through the process and they told me I had to go to a different state. They called again 3 days later and I went through the process and they again told me I had to go to a different state. My boyfriend received 9 soliciting phone from ******* for this business. Since this morning, I have received 4 phone calls back to back so I had to pick up and tell them to stop calling. He asked if I no longer wanted to receive treatment from them and I told him no. He then told me Im going to end up in a state hospital or a psych ****. And the first woman told my boyfriend that if I had cancer he would take me wherever to get the best treatment. DO NOT CONTACT here unless you want a used car salesman sales pitch because they want to help. They just want your money. ********* a client that has reached out for help is not good business practice, especially in a mental crisis. I dont even understand how this isnt illegal.

They tried to kill me via food and medicine. I was not addicted to drugs. They told me it was a get away to relax and learn coping skills. They poisoned me and wouldnt take me to the hospital. After I was dropped off with nothing at a hospital I didnt know, they never contacted my husband or checked on me. They damaged my liver with their mysterious pills. Theres more but Im too upset to relive it. It took me 4 days to get my husband to find me and get my things. I brought my ulcer meds they took from me and I needed them. All they care about is the drug addicts that come in there. They will lie to self pay people. It felt like this place was a cult. Please seek safe help close to home or this place will trigger anything youve ever felt and try and brainwash you and poison you.

Horrible company, money **** all the way. Especially that sorry excuse for a mental health treatment center in Tamarac. Disgraceful the way I was treated. And to be charged $4,500 a day for that mistreatment should be criminal. The food was inedible. Available snacks were lays products and pudding cups. No real one on one therapy. Group therapy was printed worksheets and repetitive subjects. I was made to squat and cough upon entry (I didn't have to do that in jail, why am I doing it at a depressin center?), lied about being in network, had us on ankle monitors, lied about outings and treatment, left us over the weekend with no one but techs and a the house held a group on how much I suck, and no one saw that as a problem, lied about my release date, manipulated my family to manipulate me... this place should be investigated for fraud. If you AMA they literally throw you out and leave you to find a way home. Just a horrible, horrible place that is exploiting sick people for insurance money.

This place is nothing but a huge scam. All they care about is collecting insurance money. From the beginning I was treated horribly, no therapy, barely any contact with staff, and treated as a pay day to them. They contacted my wife while i was there voluntarily, and manipulated her while she was in a emotional state. They coached her on what to say to me in order to get me to stay longer. When I asked them if they had coached her they lied to my face. My wife told me that is was the whole team telling her these things on speaker phone. If they really cared about curing people of addiction they would try and actually talk with said person instead of creating a stressful situation even worse. *** tried to talk to corporate about this and all i was told was well your wife could be as sick as you were. Worst place ever. I could go on for days i hope they call me so i can actually talk to someone who can do something other then dismiss me out of hand as if I am a needy child.
