I attempted to put a complaint on geeksonsite.com and it said there was an error; this is likely the reason why their ratings are high on their website. 11 Aug. 2022 I talked to ****** who was very pleasant. I was having problem with ethernet and wanted to be sure that nothing else was wrong. Tech 1 took about 4 hours to run basic diagnostics for $179. However, didn't resolve my ethernet issue. I watched as the tech worked and called the company and said that s/he doesn't have permission to put anything on my hard drive permanently without my permission. A professional called me back and said if I added "malaw...byte" that my protection would be even higher per him and the tech. I said that I have AVG, but he insisted that my protection would be 90%+. After installed and I researched AVG, this paid software (vs. free) absolutely conflicts with AVG. Then I was getting the blue screen from Windows and force reboot. Called again and talked to a very nice person by the name of *** and said tech 1 didn't resolve ethernet hard drive issue + blue screen force reboot issue. Issues still with possibly ********** so I reached out to them instead of back to geeks... Ethernet still has issues. When another person called to say that I should be satisfied and I said no because I don't know what either of the techs actually did. She said she would send me a report on 16 August and didn't. I called and said wanted a refund. No return call and they are supposedly there 24/7. So, be careful. I think that there are some kind and helpful folks here, but their techs may not document, and this may be the reason why I didn't get sent the promised documentation.Geeks On Site
